Sorcerer Novice Level 1

The first thing that an apprentice Sorcerer learns that he/ they cannot do any kind of Majik without being taught all about all of its aspects including spell casting, rituals and ceremony performing along with making a majikal mixture such as a potion by a much more experienced and advanced Sorcerer who has gone through the very types of training that you will be reading and practising in this very book.

Firstly there are some basics that I will need you to teach to you and as I suspect for some of you these basics will questions that you, yourselves would want to ask me if you were to learn from me in person. The first basic what we are going to look at is this: "What is Majik?" Well what I would usually do with my students in person is to analyse the very question in every single detail. So yes what is majik? Firstly there are at least six different spellings of the word majik so now I will give to you the six different spellings of the word majik. Number 1. Magic this spelling is the most common spelling of the word of majik, Number 2. Magick this spelling is mostly used by many followers of the Pagan paths of Wicca, Number 3. Magik this spelling is used by a multitude of different Pagan path followers, Number 4. Majick this spelling is a variation of number 2 spelling just instead of a g it is a j, Number 5. Majic this spelling variation of number 1 yet again the g has been replaced by a j & finally Number 6. Majik this spelling is a variation of number 5 the g has been yet again replaced by a j and this time the c has also been replaced by a k and this is the one I personally use. Now I must also tell to you that the spellings of the word magic with a k was invented to distinguish ritual, ceremonial, spell casting and or making mixtures of a majikal nature from that of stage magic i. e. a stage magician sawing his/ her/ their assistant in to two halves. Those are the six different spellings of the word majik now we must look at what majik actually is, firstly we have already mentioned that it is ceremonial, ritualistic & sometimes an illusion but what else is it? To some it is a power, to some it is a sign of divinity,  to some it is a gift, to others it as a weapon, to some it is an art, to others it is writing. Basically majik is a multitude of many different things. I would say that majik is a fascinating multitude of many different things and six different variations of the ways to spell it. There is another question that we have to look at however that is best to do in the next chapter perhaps as you are only a Sorcerers apprentice until at least quite possibly the sixteenth chapter and hopefully by then you will have got to the level just below becoming a fully fledged Sorcerer. At the end of each and every training level there will be a chapter for the exam in order for you to officially complete each and every training level so that you can become a fully qualified and legally recognised Sorcerer.
