Novice Level One Continued Part Six

So here we we are at the final section of your Novice Level 1 training because once this Part of the training has been completed you will no longer be just a Sorcerers Apprentice you will have become the lowest yet first level of being a Sorcerer who follows the spiritual ways of Elymas Magus. So I suggest that we begin to look at the seven questions for those of you who are reading this very book and therefore studying to become fully qualified and legally recognised as Sorcerers which by the end of this book you will all have managed to achieve that quite successfully. Now then shall we go onto the questions?
The first question of this chapter and the sixteenth question of this book that I already know that you who are reading this book would ask me about Sorcery in person if you could and it is this: "When am I going to be a fully qualified and legally recognised as a Sorcerer?" An excellent question to ask and here is one of the most simplist answers so far: You will be a fully qualified and legally recognised Sorcerer when you have completed all of your training at the end of this book. There is the question that you would have asked and there is the answer that you would have been given. Now then with out of the way here is the second question of this chapter and the seventeenth question of this book that again I know that those of you who are reading this book would ask me in person which is this: "What is a Grimoire?" This is a great question to continue the final part of the first part of your training because I have the most simplist answers to give to you however it might seem a bit long. The word Grimoire is French in origin and it means in the most basic of terms a training manual for Sorcerers. And therefore it should be used not only for studying Majik but also to record your own experiences of learning as you are a Sorcerers Apprentice i.e. a Sorcerer in training.
Now we can move onto our third question of this chapter and the eighteenth question of this book that I know that you would ask me in person if you could which is this: "What is the next level of training as a Sorcerers Apprentice?" Again another brilliant question to ask of me and I will simply tell you the answer which is this:The next level after this one is called Novice Level 2. Next we most move onto the fourth question of this chapter and the nineteenth question of this book and again I must stress to you all that it is one that I Know that it would be one that you would ask of me in person if you were able to do so which is this: "What is a Familiar?" This too has a very simple answer and it is this: A Familiar is an animal such as a beloved pet that you have preformed an extremely special spell upon so that it can help you to learn and do Majik. Moving onto our fifth question of this chapter and the twentieth question of this book which is yet again another question that I know that you would ask of me in person if you could which is this: "Are there tools for doing Sorcery?" Again the answer is simple and it is this: Yes there are indeed tools for doing Sorcery and I shall list them here in order of usage, importance and alphabetical; 1.Altar: this is the most important tool as it will allow you to honour the Great Spirit, Gaia the Spirit of the Earth, Eros the Spirit of True Love, the Green Man & the Eight Elements of Nature it is also your focusing point for all of the Majik that you will do, 2.Altar Cloth: this is what you will use not only to decorate your Altar but also keep it clean and tidy, 3.Altar Table: this is a table that will go infront of the Altar it is what you will actually use to do any Majik including if you became initiated as a Sorcerer by me in person you would indeed be on the Altar Table as you are being initiated, 4.Bell/ Bells: these are used to set the tone or to put you into the correct head space and again help you to focus on the Majik that you are going to do,
5.Boline: this is crescent shaped bladed knife that is used to prepare herbs and or other ingredients for example making an incense or maybe for a potion it is not to ever used on any living being however it can be used to cut the symbolic ties that bind,
6.Candle/ Candles: Yes candles are an important tool for doing Majik just as much as the other previous five are now the candle is used to represent the third element of Fire and therefore gives to us light and again it can act as a focusing tool for when you need to do Majik, 7.Ceremonial Dagger: this is tool has two usages; number one it can be used to direct energies as well as representing the fifth element of Metal & number two it can also be used to cut the symbolic ties that bind but again it is to NEVER EVER to be used on any living being!, 8.Divining/ Dowsing Rod: this tool has three different usages which are; number one to help you focus energies, number to help you divine the future, present and past & finally number three; to help you to find water or even a lost object and or your way if you happen to find yourself lost,
9. Divination Tools: these are the tools that you will use for any kind of Divination work regardless whether or not it is the Past, Present or Future,
10.Elemental Representations: these tools are used to represent each one of the Eight Elements of Nature which are; 1.Air, 2.Earth, 3.Fire, 4.Love, 5.Metal, 6.Space, Time & 8.Water you can use whatever you like to represent all of the Eight Elements of Nature as long as you know what each one represents then that is good enough for anyone else,
11.Grimoire: this is your book of knowledge on everything to do with Sorcery and by extension Majik and it is also your journey of your own experiences and research on this wonderful, spiritual and at times easy and at other times difficult path,
12.Higher Power/ Higher Powers Representation: so this tool/ these tools are used to represent how you feel a Higher Power/ Higher Powers would reveal Themselves/ Himself/ Herself to you in the material world so it could be an image that you believe embodies the Great Spirit His partner Gaia the Spirit of the Earth, Their son Eros the Spirit of True Love, Thier son & His older brother the Green Man the best,
13.Incesnse Burner: this is a tool that you will put either an incense cone, stick or oil in to burn,
14.Incense Cone, Stick or Oil: now this is what you burn in a container or holder whilst your incense is burning it not only represents the third element of Fire again as well as helping you to keep your focus but it helps to purify the place around to where your Altar is etc,
15.Protection Symbol/ Symbols: this tool is/ these tools are what you are going to use for protection for yourself and all other living beings each and every time that you do Majik,
16.Staff: this is one of your tools for not only making you focus but again it to can be used to direct energies and you can even use it as a support for yourself and even as a walking stick,
17.Sword: this tool can be used again to direct energies but not only that but it can also be used to represent the fifth element of Metal as well being a focusing tool it can also be used as a symbol of Protection & finally We have 18.Wand: this is a smaller much more lightweight and portable version of the Staff however it too can be used to direct energies and help you focus. Those are the eighteen tools for doing Majik. So let us now move onto what is the sixth question of this chapter and the twenty-first question of this book and again it is one I know that you would ask me in person if you were able to do so and it is this: "Are there Negative/ Dark/ Evil beings in Sorcery etc?" Unfortunately the simplist and perhaps most scariest answer I have given to all of you who are reading and studying this very Grimoire that I have given to you yet is this: Yes there are, they are referred to as Demons and I must also tell you that you can defeat these beings if they get out of hand but that is not something we will worry about until you are much closer towards the end of your training right at the very last chapters of this book. And finally let us move onto the seventh and final of this chapter and therefore the twenty-second question of this book which is another question that I know that you would ask me in person if you could which is this: "Are Positive/ Light/ Good beings in Sorcery etc?" And again the answer is simply:Yes there are, they are referred to as Angels and to keep the natural balance of Nature in perfect synchronisation/ harmony then there has to be the opposite beings to the ones of darkness. That is a brilliant final question for this chapter to end on now as I said at the beginning of this chapter this is the final part of your training for becoming a Novice Sorcerer Level One so CONGRATULATIONS on completing all of the training necessary to reach this level and begin Novice Level Two however you are now going to have to take an exam to successfully reach Novice Level One which is going to be in the next chapter so I'll simply say to you all Brightest of Blessings, Blessed Be and So Mote It Be.
