"What... are you doing?" Beomgyu's eyes widened, processing the intimate moment, his cheeks turning a soft shade of pink.

"Recharging." Taehyun's voice was deep and steady, sending shivers down Beomgyu's spine.

Beomgyu looked up, their eyes meeting intensely.

"I missed you." Taehyun said softly, his expression serious as he glanced down at the omega, who was left bewildered and speechless.

"And don't talk to strangers!" The alpha suddenly shifted his tone from cold to something Beomgyu couldn't quite place. He gripped both of the omega's shoulders, forcing the male to face him.

"You're one to talk!" Beomgyu raised a brow, feeling a mix of confusion and attraction towards Taehyun's unpredictability.

"It's best if you stay away from that beta. He's trouble." Taehyun crossed his arms, his expression serious.

"You're being dramatic." Beomgyu muttered, his phone ringing. He answered it quickly, taking a moment to listen before responding.

"Yes, hello? He's here with me. That's all? Thank you very much for earlier. Goodbye, then."

Taehyun furrowed his brows, watching the omega intently.

"Sanha-hyung says you forgot to take your coffee. You've been forgetful lately, huh?" Beomgyu remarked, looking at Taehyun with a slightly exasperated expression.

The fu– He called him Hyung?!  The alpha's world crumbled, losing his soul.

"I DON'T WANT THAT COFFEE ANYMORE!" Taehyun gritted his teeth, his expression unexpectedly adorable in its sadness.

Don't make that face... Beomgyu sighed, watching Taehyun with a mixture of fondness and concern.

"Nana mentioned this is important."

Taehyun abruptly grabbed the item from him and walked away. "Thanks."

What's with him?  Beomgyu pouted, standing awkwardly in the dimly lit room. His eyes scanned the dark interior, but they were drawn to two figures that glowed faintly in the room—the couple bear figures from the night they first met.

"I'll be going then." Beomgyu bowed politely, unable to bring himself to look at the figurines again.

This room... makes me uncomfortable.
I'd rather not be reminded of how this all started.

It was a memory of intense planning and anxiety, all stemming from Beomgyu's fear that his son, Taejun, might be taken away from him.

The omega bit his lip, overwhelmed by emotions, and hurried out of the room, avoiding the oppressive atmosphere that threatened to suffocate his heart.

Sorry, Soob. I'll try to get more information
on him next time.

Beomgyu silently walked down the hallway, his emotions swirling. "WHY ARE YOU STILL FOLLOWING ME?!" he shouted at the alpha, who was trailing behind.

"Why not? I'll see you out." Taehyun replied calmly.

"Look, I don't want people to misunderstand our relationship." Beomgyu glanced down, clutching his dress. "I don't want to cause any more trouble."

Taehyun looked at him sadly. "That's not—"

"Isn't that why you're... hiding me and Taejun?" Beomgyu cut him, making fists with his hands for support.

Somehow, their conversation was interrupted by an incoming voice approaching their direction.

"This way!" Taehyun quickly grabbed Beomgyu's wrist and pulled him into a corner, pressing him against the wall. He placed a finger to his lips, signaling for silence.
