Part 13: The Return of Trouble

The calmness that Taehyung and Y/n had fought so hard to establish was abruptly shattered. It started with disturbances, rumors of fights, and whispers of betrayal among their ranks. Then, chaos quickly took over their empire.

Their enemy, the Dark Rider, hit back with a vengeance. The first sign of trouble was an explosion at one of their warehouses, turning it into burning ruins. This was followed by a series of arranged attacks on their businesses and important people, spreading fear and uncertainty throughout their organization.

As news of the attacks reached Taehyung and Y/n, they came back from their vacation as soon as possible. They knew they were facing a brutal and determined enemy. The enemy came back together and attacked carefully, trying to destroy what Taehyung and Y/n had created.

In the heart of their Headquarters, the war room buzzed with activity. A big table in the middle was filled with maps, papers, and pictures about the recent attacks. Taehyung and Y/n were in the center, surrounded by their most trusted advisors and lieutenants.

Tae: When did it happen?

Namjoon: The day before yesterday at night. It was a sudden attack.

Tae: How many died?

Namjoon: Almost 70%. The guards and the people there were not prepared. There was not much backup. They lost with a heavy loss. The warehouse is entirely destroyed, with almost all of our stock and consignment were burnt by them.

Tae: How did they know about it? It was one of our secret warehouses. Only a few of us knew about it. How did they find it? And how did they attack most of our businesses?

Taehyungs voice was furious and stern. Everyone felt chilled by his cold and angry remark.

Namjoon and Jimin said nothing. Taehyungs eyes went to Jimin. His expression was restless. Something in his behavior was really odd.

Tae: We cannot let this go unanswered. They think they can intimidate us, but they will soon learn the cost of crossing us.

Y/n nodded, her eyes blazing with determination.

Y/n: We need to show them that we are stronger than ever. Our response must be swift and decisive.

Tae: All of you are dismissed except Namjoon.

Everyone left.

Tae: Luna, wait for me in my office.

Y/n nodded and left.

Namjoon: Want to tell something?

Tae: Trace Jimin's cyber activity and keep an eye on his movement.

Namjoon: Tae, are you doubting Jimin?

Tae: Something is odd about him.

Namjoon: Tae, From the fight you both have, you are somewhat after him.

Tae: Hyung, trust me. He is someone I trust most. But right now, my gut is saying something is wrong. Please do what I say. And no one should know anything.

Namjoon: Don't worry.

Taehyung sighed.

At Taehyung's office

Y/n: Tae, are you suspecting any of us is linked with them?

Tae: I don't know. They destroyed our storages.

Y/n: It's fine. Yoongi is after it. He is still confused about how is it even happened. I also think someone inside has their hand in it.

Taehyung sighed.
