*Loki's POV*
It was an usual day in Asgard and Loki was just walking in the gardens of the castle. He knew you'd probably be sitting under the old oak, reading a book. He loved to watch you when you didn't know that someone was watching you. You always seemed so peaceful and happy. Although today something caught Loki's eye, he saw Thor walking towards you. Loki knew that you were a close friend to Thor, he felt bitter about the fact that you and Thor had your own little jokes and stories to tell about how you had spend some time together somewhere. You and Loki had had only few conversations privately, Thor had a bad habit of interrupting your conversations. By now Thor was laying on the ground, next to you. He suddenly moved closer to you and placed his hand on your shoulder. Loki had feared that there was something between you and Thor but he had always hoped that he was wrong. He could't bare it anymore, he turned his back to you and walked back into the castle.
*Your POV*
It was another beautiful day in Asgard, you loved to be back from the great war. You weren't even sure why you had joined the army. It was probably because after your mother died you felt useful in that way. You had no idea that your strategies would be so useful in wars, soon after you'd joined the army you became the main strategist who everyone looked up for. It felt so strange that girl who used to got mocked because of her magical powers ( that no one really knew much about) had became someone who people looked up to. You couldn't stand two faced people, too bad that one of the princes were like that. You now know that kids could be extremely mean towards each other and when they'll grow up they forget about mocking others or the things they said. But there was something you could not forget. " No one is going to play with that freak , is that clear?" These were the exact words that Thor had told the other kids when both of you had been still in school. You were pretty sure that he didn't remember them anymore, and you couldn't even show your disgust towards him, because he's the prince. You found it weird how different Thor and Loki were. Loki might have seemed a bit mean or cold but you knew from the few times that you had been chatting with him that he was just different. It must have been hard for him to grow up on the shadow of his brother.
Right now you were reading a book, a weird Midgardian love story with vampires and werewolves, while sitting under one old tree. You loved to be away from the castle, from all the fuzz. Suddenly you saw Thor, of course he had to come here and annoy you. " Hey Y/N! What are you doing here?" Thor asked. You raised the book just as high as he can see the title. " Reading," you said. Thor seemed confused " That's not a book from around here, is it?" he asked. " Not really," you said with your eyes still on the book. Suddenly you felt his hand on your shoulder, he was in your personal space...again. You pushed his hand away. Thor made a slightly disapointed noise. " What are you doing tonight? Going to Midgard again? " he asked calmly. " No, not tonight." you answered. "So you would have time to come to Vanaheim with me?" he asked with a smile. " Why do you need to go there?" you asked while thinking how to reject that offer. " I don't need to go there, just thought that we could go there, me and you." he placed his hand over your shoulders. You stood up " Sorry, I can't today, I have plans already." You said while trying to look sorry for real. " No problem! What plans do you have if I might ask." Thor thought that I will start to stutter and he can still make me go with him, so I burst out the first thing that popped into my mind, " I'm going on a date, sorry." You quickly walked back to the castle, leaving a very confused Thor behind you.
