That one time Thor got way too drunk

The singing became louder and louder. " That sounds a lot like Thor," Loki said. " The last person I would want to see right now," you replied. "What?" Loki replied with a surprised voice. You never got the chance to answer. " Loki, no harassing my strate...strategi... strategist !" Thor was leaning on the doorway, he was clearly drunk. Loki let go of you and stepped a few steps closer to Thor." You are very drunk Thor! Maybe you want someone to lead you to your rooms?" Loki asked with a cold voice. " No no no, I just spent a good hour looking for my y/n, she was supposed to be on a date but here she is, with you, how very...what's the word?... Eeermm... Bad, bad." Loki looked at you with a look that was trying to say ' I apologise for my idiotic brother', you smiled and said that you'll go and find some guards that can carry him to his rooms. You didn't go back to the balcony after you had talked to the guards. You went straight to your chamber, although you would have loved to talk on with Loki, you couldn't stand Thor's comments. You fell asleep quite quickly.

*Few days later*

You had been keeping a low profile for the past few days because you really didn't want to see Thor, you weren't sure that he was so drunk that he couldn't remember anything from that evening. Sadly there was a meeting tonight that you had to take part in and you could've bet on your life that Thor was going to be there.

*Loki's POV*

For the past few days, Loki had been thinking over and over about your conversation on the balcony. He was confused about how emotionlessly you talked about Thor. Was it possible that you didn't like Thor? Loki knew that Thor remembered what he had seen on the balcony because he had got a lot meaner towards Loki. He looked at Loki in a disappointed way lately. Loki was walking through the castle, he was on his way to the garden when he was stopped by Thor. "Loki!We need to get some things straight!" There was no brotherly love in his voice, Loki could say that he was angry. "I'm listening brother." he replied. " You better stay away from y/n, the last thing that we need is gossip about the future queen and her husband's brother spending time together on a romantic balcony!Keep your distance, she's a lovely person and she wouldn't tell you to just leave her alone, she's got manners you know!" Thor was speaking really fast. " The future queen!?!? " Loki shouted, he hadn't thought that things might be as far as this. " Yes, of course. I was going to ask her tonight after the meeting, and you better not try to do anything stupid!" Thor turned around and rushed away. Loki stood there for a while, thinking what to do. A few days ago he wouldn't have done a thing, but after the conversation you had on the balcony he felt like he had a chance. He decided to talk to you.

*Your POV*

You were in your chamber when you heard a knock on your door. " Who is it?" you said quite loudly. "It's Loki." "Oh, do come in." you replied. He opened the door and just by one look at him you knew he had something on his chest. "What is it?" you asked. "I don't know how to tell you this, I've never been good at things like this. It's just that now there's something stopping me from waiting any longer." he was looking at the floor. You walked closer to him, you had been waiting for this moment for so long. "Y/n...I..." On that exact moment your chamber's door flew wide open and you saw Sif on the doorway. " Y/N, it's code red. We need you at the northern gate as soon as possible. Oh, Sir Loki, we'd need you too." Sif rushed away. It felt as if Sif would have came and just beat your perfect moment up, your moment was gone, dead, but hopefully not for long. You picked up your battle armor and sword, Loki was still standing in the middle of the room. " Code red stands for invasion, right?" he asked quietly. "Yes," you said while picking up the last things that you need in the battle. "You should go and get your stuff," you said to Loki. "Ah, yes, invasion," he said. You walked up to him and said " We will continue with this conversation after the battle so please, be careful!" His eyes lit up " After the battle? It will be my pleasure." Before you left your room you ran up to Loki and kissed him, he was shocked. "Be careful Loki!" you said as you picked up your sword again, you left your room, leaving a puzzled Loki behind. "Bloody hormones," you said as you rushed through the hall into the battle.
