Living in Asgard ( Loki x reader imagine)

That one time you were finally happy

You woke up because someone was banging on your door. 

" I thought you should know that Thor is looking for you and you missed the meeting. Y/N it's already midday, you should come out! " Sif shouted. She knocked a few times more before leaving. You opened your eyes and saw Loki grinning at you. 

" Shut up." You said as you turned your back at him. He placed his hand around you and kissed your neck. 

"We should get up, it's almost 1 PM already." Loki said after a while. 

" Yeah, you're probably right." You said as you turned back to face him.

 "I'm going to tell father about us today."Loki said suddenly. 

"What do you think he's going to say?" You asked. 

"I'm sure that he is going to be happy about us, he told good things about you yesterday, when we were going back to the castle," he replied. 

"I hope so."

You had been keeping away from Thor's sight the whole day. Odin had sent you an invitation which said that he is going to invite you, both of the princes, Sif, the warrior three, Frigga and 15 other people to a formal dinner . You had already been to 3 of them so you knew what to expect. 1,5 hours before you were supposed to be at the "formal dinner", you heard a knock on your door. 

" It's me, Sif." 

"Come in," you said. 

" What are you going to wear this time?" she asked while taking your lipstick from the table. 

"I don't know yet.What are you going to wear?" You asked from Sif. 

" Remember that dress, that blue dress with a bit of leather in it?" "The one with the collar?" "Yeah, that one. I think I'm going with that."

  "What should I put on?" You asked after she had finished. 

" Hmm.. Let me think, " she walked into your wardrobe.  After a few minutes she came back with a huge smile on her face. 

" Is that from Midgard?" She asked. You turned around and saw Sif with a short, black lace dress in her hand. 

"Mmm.. Yep."

 "It looks cool, so.. so not Asgard. You should put that on." Sif said with her eyes still on the dress. 

"Don't you think that they'll get mad at me for wearing something so Midgardian?" You asked with a note of hesitation in your voice. 

"Everyone knows that you go to Midgard almost every week, everyone knows you like midgardians, why should they be mad?" Sif asked you. 

"If you say so."

*****Time skip*****
You and Sif stood in front of a mirror in Sif's chamber.

 " One day we are going down to Midgard to this "cube", just as we planed a few years ago!" Sif said.

 "Club you mean?" You asked while you started laughing.

 " It's not that funny Lady-I-Know-Everything-About-Midgard!" Sif said as she blushed.

 " Are we ready?"You asks when you had stopped laughing. Sif nodded. 

"OK miss Cube, let's go!" You said and started giggling again. "Shut up!"

Everyone else was already there when you and Sif arrived. Loki was wearing a bit more forma version of his armor, his hair was combed back - he looked amazing. You walked up to him and smiled widely. 

" You look astonishing, my love." Loki whispered into your ear. 

" Father wants to make an announcement about us tonight. Not even my mother knows yet." You looked at him, he seemed so exited and happy. You were just about to reply to him but Odin said: 

"Gather here my dear guests." You walked to the table with everyone else and sat down. You were sitting between Loki and Sif and opposite of Thor. Odin made a speech about," wonderfully planed and won battle". Then everyone started eating and chatting with each other. 

"Lady y/n, may I ask you about your dress?" Frigga said.

 "But of course, your highness," you replied. 

" It's not made by asgardians, am I right?" "It's from Midgard, your highness." 

" It fits your character. "she said and smiled at you. 

" Thank you." When you had finished your chat with Frigga, Odin suddenly stood up.

 " I have another great announcement to make today!" You heart started beating really, really fast. You felt Loki's hand on yours under the table.

 " I am glad to announce that one of my sons, one of the future kings, has found himself a strong and upstanding queen to share his life with." He now looked at you two. You could feel the tension in the room. Frigga gasped.

"Prince Loki, my son. Lady y/n, you have my blessing." Odin finally added. You looked at Loki and he seemed so extremely happy that you couldn't do anything but smile back at him.

 " No!" Someone shouted, you understood that it was Thor. "She was supposed to become my queen!" He shouted as he stood up. You looked at him with nothing but disgust in your eyes.

 " Was supposed to be?" Odin asked Thor in confusion. 

"Yes, father." 

"Did she promise herself to you, answer me!" Odin shouted at Thor. You on to Loki's hand and watched the situation in terror.

 "No, but I was planning to ask her to be my wife last night." Thor shouted while looking at Loki. 

" Thor! Behave! " Frigga said in a strict way. Thor stood up and started rushing away, he stoped and turned around 

" You'll regret this Loki!" He shouted and rushed outside, closing the door with a loud bang. Silence took over. Sif pulled you into a tight hug when you let her go you saw  tears in her eyes- tears of joy.  Right after Sif had let go of you, you felt Loki's hand on your shoulder.

 "Are you OK?" He asked.

 "I'm still alive." You replied. Everyone had gathered around you and you heard a lot of compliments about yourself and Loki. Frigga took yours and Loki's hand and pulled you away from the crowd. He hugged Loki and said something that made him blush. Then she hugged you and said:

" I know you'll treat my son well and I know that you are a wonderful person. I'm so happy for both of you. I hope that you can forgive Thor." Frigga seemed even happier than Loki. She placed a kiss on your forehead and on Loki's forehead. The buzz around you didn't settle for almost an hour. When you had finally reached your chamber with Loki, you breath out loudly as you fell onto your bed. 

" I'm exhausted " you said in a sleepy voice. Loki laid down next to you. Suddenly you heard him laugh. 

"What?" You asked. " I can't believe that I can be with you for the rest of my life now." You didn't reply anything for a minute or two.

" I love you Loki!" You said. 

"I love you y/n, I love you too!"

You spent a happy and wonderful life with Loki, you both died in an old age. There were stories told about you hundreds of years after you had passed away. "The perfect match" the stories always said.
