chapter 6

Navya pov

I woke up in the morning and saw he was not there. He did not come last night. After all i broke his heart, why would he want to see my my face!

Where was he btw?

I went to freshen up to start my day. I came out of bathroom and went straight to closet.

I wore a saree as it was my first day and did a little makeup and came out of my closet. There I saw him.

He was busy in his phone and typing furiously. He saw me and we did an eye contact. His eyes softened for a millisecond but again I could see rage in eyes.

"Avi... " I tried to call him but he did not listen and went to washeroom and closed the door with a loud thud. I flinched.

I guess he need some time to be normal. I had gone to kitchen.

Avinash pov:-

I did not come to my room previous night. I started having feelings for her but she broke my heart brutally.

If she loved her dead ex then why the fuck she married me.

I slept in my study room. Then I came to my room. She was not on the bed maybe she was in the bathroom.

I didn't want to see her face after all whatever she and her family did to me and my family.

I was typing furiously when I heard clicked sound of closed and my head straight shot up to the direction.

I saw her and froze, she was looking exquisite in that saree and her face adorned by Vermillion and nuptial chain of my name.

But it did not matter at all. I started remembering whatever happened last night. I went to washroom and closed the door with a thud.

Navya pov:-

I was coming down stairs when mom called me

"Navya beta, itni jaldi kyu uthi? " She asked patting my head as I took her blessing by touching her feet.

"Mom, aaj phela din hai toh mene socha jaldi uth jaati hu vrna acha nhi lagega" I said.

"It's okk beta, tum thodi der aur so jaati, yeh log thoda late uthte hai islye" She said smilingly.

"It's okk mom, let me help you now" I told her and stood beside her.

"Chalo thik hai kesa tum kaho, jesa ki aaj tumhari pheli rasoi hai, toh kuch meetha bnaao" She said doing other chores.

"Btw avi ki favourite besan ka halwa hai" She said wiggling her eyes. I somehow controlled my smile. And started cooking his favourite dish.

Till then everyone started gathering on the dining table. Maids and i put every thing on table.

"Wowww bhabhi kitni achi khushboo aa rhi hai"
Kiwi chirped.

"Thank you bache" I said lovingly.

We had our breakfast while talking about other stuffs.

"Navu beta, sbko halwa dedo" Chachi said.

I nodded and started distributing everyone.

"Ohhoooo, bhai ka favourite besan ka halwaa, not bad bhabhi" Kiara said teasingly.

I was looking here there when I did eye contact with my husband. He was looking hot.

Huh, navya, concentrate.... My mind mocked me.

Everyone tasted the halwa and i was so nervous.

"Beta, yeh toh bhot acha bana hai" Papa said smilingly.

"Hnnnn, bhabhi yeh toh bhot tasty bna hai" All the youngsters said in unison.

I eyed avinash to see his reaction but it was neutral. I got disappointed.

"Avi beta, kesa laga teri biwi k haath ka halwa? "Prachi chachi asked.

" Acha hai chachi" He said without any interest.

"Acha ya mind-blowing" Sneha chachi asked wiggling her eyebrows.

"Mind-blowing " He said while smiling faintly.

We did eye contact for milliseconds. I smiled at him but he didn't reciprocated and said
"Mom, I am going for office" And was ready to go.

"Beta, aaj k din bhi? " Mom asked him.

"Hnn mom, already bhot holidays hogyi, ab aur time waste nhi krna befaltu mein" He said while glaring at me. I settled my head down.

"Ptani kya hogya isse achanak"Ritik chacha said.

" Mood swings" Yug said and was having his food. I got sad.

"Navya beta, tumhe pagphere ki rasam karni hai toh jaao saman pack krlo, tumhara bhai aata hi hoga" Tushar chacha said.

I nodded and departed to my room for packing. When I came back to lounge area. My brother was already there ,talking to them.

I approached them and hugged my brother. I joined him and went to my home for days. I entered, everyone welcomed me warmly.

I am still disappointed with my parents and brother. I went to my room.

Ohhhhh my roommmmm, I missed everything here. The smell, the photo frames and the stuff toys.

I hugged them and slept soundly. I woke up I'm the evening and had my evening snacks.

Mom made my favourite dishes for dinner to lit up my mood a bit. But still I was upset with them.

I came back to my room. Suddenly all flashbacks hit me hard.

Now avinash hates me too, and one day his family will hate me too when they will get to know about the truth.

I am a fucking curse, wherever I go, I bring bad luck with me.

I cried and slept.
