Broken foot's revenge (rabies)

Chapter 8

"Talonswoop, I need your help" Brokenfoot said, talonswoop nodded and Said "with what?" Brokenfoot then said "I need someone here to act like a starclan cat and get my mom out of camp" talonswoop then said "sweetmeadow can help, she has acted like a starclan cat many times" he then called sweetmeadow over and she ran towards them and asked "what do you need?" "I need you to act like a starclan cat again" she looked excited and asked "who do I need to trick?" Talonswoop then nodded to brokenfoot whothen replied "I need you to get my mom, hazelpool, into the forest and towards the mad cats." She nodded and ran off.

When he woke up, he looked around, and soon got up and padded out of camp, he went to a large tree and climbed it, keeping watch for Hazelpool.
    When he saw her, he unsheathed his claws and pounced, landing right on her shoulders, she then collapsed and he carried her towards where the mad cats were located.
     He then saw some and dropped her on the ground and yowled, sounding sad while he ran off and into a tree where he watched the mad cats go for Hazelpool who was screeching, trying to scrambled away to no avail, many cats saw her getting attacked, and lunged forwards to try to get them off her, they soon got them off, and saw her ragged, bloody body.
     She let out a painful yowl, her body shook one last time and she went limp. The cats then started to drag her body back to camp, careful not to touch the bit marks. They walked to camp, carefully, trying not to be ambushed by the mad cats. After they were out of sight, he scrambled down the tree and decided to hunt for something as an alibi, he also cleaned himself in a river to get rid of the Hazelpools stench. Once he washed himself thoroughly, he caught a bird and 2 mice. He then padded back to camp, where the rest of the clan were staring at her body. He went to the freshkill pile, and placed down his prey. When he saw Hazelpools body, he gasped.
    "What happened to her?" He asked Oakstar. "The mad cats got to her, I know you didn't have a good relationship with her, but I know that it's hard to lose someone who took care of you in your-" she was cut off by Brokenfoot hissing "She did not care for me in my youth! Ravenwhisker did until he died! He actually cared about me unlike Hazelpool! I'm happy she died! She acted like she cared about me! But she never did... she only cared before my accident" he turned and sprinted out of camp, and Emberfoot chased after him, trying her best to keep up, he climbed to the top of a tree and yowled "You never cared about me! You always just thought of me as an outcast!" He then allowed himself to go limp. He then lost his balance and started falling, slamming his head of branches, until he went unconscious.
       When he woke up, he was in the medicine cat den, his body ached, and he looked around, he then saw Basilleaf stare at him in disbelief "O my starclan, I thought you would die within the night! You sliced off half of your ear, and broke your nose and your front paw, we may have to have you retire to the-" she was cut off my him spitting "I'm not retiring! If you try to retire me, I'll slice your face off just like Shatteredface!" He then tried his best to get up, but fell quickly. "I want to see myself" he spat at her, and she carefully picked him up and showed him his reflection in the water "I look disgusting!" He hissed, unsheathing his claws.
      "Don't freak out! You may ruin the herbs!" She hissed dropping him "we may have to tie you to the ground if you don't stop moving!" She then dragged him by the scruff and put him back in the nest.
     She then left and when she came back she was holding a thick vine, and called Emberfoot over "Brokenfoot! Are you okay?" Basilleaf interrupted her by saying "He won't stay still, and if you want him back to how he was before, I recommend helping me tie him down, I need a few sticks, could you grab some?" Emberfoot foot nodded sadly and left the den.

      When she camp back, she was carrying a couple sticks. "Okay, now put them in the ground, and I'll tie the vine to it" Emberfoot foot nodded and stabbed them into the ground, while Basilleaf tied the vines to the ground with her teeth, putting it over his body, when they finished Basilleaf said "Once you can behave, I'll take it off." He hissed at her and tried to get the vines off to no avail. "Take this stupid thing off me!" He spat.
