Broken foot went up to red fang and told him "go get rockfoot,frost paw, and talonswoop for a border patrol along the fern clan border and dawnblaze, go have maplestream,ivory stick, and ashsplash and have a patrol along the forest clan border And willow pelt have frost fang, brindletail, and Amberfall for a hunting patrol." And broken foot went outside camp to hunt by himself.
After catching some prey a loner named coal ran up pelt bristling and begged " go! There's mad cats that are spreading an terrible disease and they'll try to bite you and they act different but it takes sunrises to moons so if you see any cats that are aggressive and won't drink water kill them!" Brokenfoot gasped and ran for camp faster than he'd ever ran before. He ran up to Oakstar panting " mad...cats...near...coal... told me" he panted out of breath. "Why should i believe that crazy cat?"Oakstar asked and then red fang, rockfoot, and talonswoop ran screeching "something's wrong with frostpaw she's attacking everyone and there's foam coming out from her-" WHAT!" Oakstar yowled and there came coal bolting in and saying "you need to get in the water! They can't drink water to go to the island. I'm afraid frostpaw had the disease" "what should we do?" A queen asked nervously"don't worry mistywhisker" oakstar reasured the queen " but what about my kits?" She fretted " we'll make sure that eclipsekit,stripe kit, and tiger kit will be just fine we just need to get on the island" "but my kits can't swim!" She snapped unsheathing her claws "I'll call a clan meeting so everyone knows" she said jumping onto the mossrock "let all cats able to swim the shoors and run the moors gather around for a clan meeting" all the cats catheter around wondering what was going on.
"What's going on?"
"Where's frostpaw?"
"We have to get to the island!" The leader yowled "frostpaw was taken by mad cats"
"What are mad cats?" Ashplash asked
"They're cats who are-" "No my poor kit!" Brindle tail wailed. Rockfoot tried to reassure her saying "you still have rainpaw and goldenpaw" she hissed "but frostpaw is still my kit and I love her" rainpaw whined "mama what about us, don't you love us?" "Of course she does" golden paw meowed" brindletail whipled around and huddled her kits "of course I love you guys I was just sad that I lost your sister" she reassured them.
