Linda just stared at Lucifer in complete shock. He'd just come in for a session and told her that Chloe was pregnant with his baby. That shocked her for many reasons. The first was that she hadn't known that Lucifer and Chloe had gotten together. The second was, of course, the irony. She'd just recently found out about her very own celestial pregnancy. "Chloe's having your baby."

Lucifer nodded taking a sip from his flask and then putting it back into his jacket pocket.

"I didn't realize that the two of you were together," said Linda.

"It was only the one time, right before we learned of what happened to Charlotte," said Lucifer.

"Still, I would've thought that would be something that you would've wanted to talk about," said Linda.

"It was kind of overshadowed by other things," said Lucifer. He very likely would've mentioned something if not for the fact that Chloe has found out about who he was soon afterwards and left the country. There was more on his mind at the time than them having sex.

"Right," said Linda. "Chloe also found out the truth about you. It must have been very shocking for you to find out she was carrying your baby." Linda watched him fidgeting with his ring and cuff links.

"Oh, yes, it was bloody flabbergasting. I didn't even think celestials could procreate. I thought for sure that the baby Pierce's when she first said she was pregnant, but she'd already done the math, plus she says that she always took precautions with him. She probably wished it were his," said Lucifer. He whispered the last part under his breath.

"It's bizarre. Me and Chloe both being pregnant with half-angels," said Linda, still very surprised by that fact.

"Yes, Amenadiel told me just after I had found out about the Detective being pregnant," said Lucifer.

"Does Amenadiel know about the baby?" asked Linda.

"No," said Lucifer, "and I ask that you please not tell him. We're trying not to tell many people right now. Only you and Maze know."

"Of course," Linda assured him. "I would never repeat anything you say here to anyone else. Would you mind if I spoke to Chloe though?" Linda asked. "I wouldn't tell her anything that we've talked about. I'm just interested in talking to her, as she's the only other person going through what I am." She wanted to make sure he knew that she wouldn't breach confidentiality.

"Oh, that's fine actually. She mentioned talking to you as well," said Lucifer.

Linda nodded. "Have the two of you decided what you're going to do next?"

"Yes," Lucifer said, taking another quick sip from his flask. "The Detective and the Urchin will be moving in with me in a couple of days," said Lucifer.

Linda was caught a bit off-guard by that. "You're moving in together. Don't you think it's a bit soon?"

"It's not like that. It's a safety precaution," said Lucifer. He explained to her about Kinley and how he came to be a threat to his kid. He of course did include the fact about the Detective agreeing to help him send Lucifer back to Hell.

Linda let out a sad sigh when she heard the story. Chloe had taken the truth seriously badly. She had come to her senses quickly obviously, but that of didn't erase the hurt that she had caused Lucifer. "Lucifer I'm very sorry. You must have been going through hell finding this out."

Lucifer couldn't help but snort at Linda's choice of words and said, "You're choice of words is beyond ironic. No, it hasn't exactly been pleasant to deal with."

"How are you handling it?" asked Linda.

"The Detective tried to have me sent back to Hell," Lucifer growled. "How should I handle it?" he asked bitterly.
