A day had passed, Jane was on her break when Jean had walked in. "Can you check on Logan for me?" Jean questions, Jane raising her brow.
"Why me?" She questions, Jean shrugging. "I'm on break, perfect learning opportunity for you." Jean says which made Jane sigh with a nod.
"Okay." She says dragging out the 'kay', Jean chuckled as she walked away.
When the blonde walked into the medical ward, she saw Logan lying there, the woman sighed as she checked his bandages, making sure there wasn't any detrimental damage to the tissue.
"Oh, that tickles." Logan says as he wakes up, grasping her hand that was checking under his bandage. "Hey." Jane says with a toothy grin, Logan opening his eyes and seeing the blonde.
"Hey blondie." He says which made her chuckle. "How're you feeling?" She questions as she shifts her weigh to her left hip. "Fantastic." He sighs out, Jane chuckling at his breathlessness.
"Y'know that was a real brave thing you did, kind of stupid but brave." Jane says which made him chuckle. "Did it work?" Logan questions, Jane nodding.
"Yeah. She's fine. She took on a few of your more charming personality traits for a while. But we lived through it." Jane says with a shrug, Logan coughing out a laugh which made her chuckle.
"I think she's a little taken with you." Jane concludes as he looks up at her. "Well, you can tell her my heart belongs to someone else." Logan says, Jane chuckling. "You're cute." Jane says with a sly grin.
"How's the professor?" Logan questions, Jane sighing. "He's good." Jane answers which made Logan sigh with relief. "Good." He says just before he brought the hand he held to hip lips, kissing her knuckles.
"Get some rest Wolvie." Jan says as she lets go of his hand, walking out of the lab. "See you 'round blondie." Logan calls back hoarsely, Jane barking out a laugh which echoed down the hallway, one Logan grinned softly at.
When Logan was due to leave, Jane waited outside for him. "Hey." Jane says which made the man turn, raising a brow as his bag was slung over his shoulder. "Hey." He says.
"So...you leavin'?" Jane questions, Logan nodding. "Gonna learn all about myself." Logan says, Jane chuckling. "Spiritual adventure." Jane says as she looked around.
"You think you'll come back to visit Rogue?" Jane questions with a brow raised, Logan nodding. "And other people." Logan says with a smirk, Jane rolling her eyes playfully. "Be safe out there Wolvie." She says as she stamps a quick kiss to his cheek, turning and walking back inside.
Jane grinned to herself as she walked back into the living room, sitting next to Ororo. "What's with the smile?" Scott questions, Jane shooting him a quick glare. "Am I not allowed to smile?" Jane questions which made Jean chuckle, already knowing the reason for her grin.
Scott raised his hands playfully, Jane shaking her head as she stared ahead at the TV, the sound of students playing echoed in the background.
