The classroom was falling empty, the students filling out in a slow trickle as they chattered and laughed with each other.
Taehyung, as always, was the first one to leave, dashing out of the room as suddenly as he appeared. leaving Jimin once again alone with his thoughts.
Jimin let out a soft sigh and he began to gather his things, his eyes drifting to the half-finished canvas on the easel in front of him.
He couldn't help but roll his eyes at the thought of it, feeling like he'd been stuck in the rut for far too long.
Ever since yesterday, when he caught sight of Jungkook with Ms. Lee, his mind has been completely jumbled. The encounter was made even worse by Jungkook calling him out for not completing his work on time.
Today, Jimin barely touched his canvas in class, it was starting to dawn on him that his feelings toward Jungkook might be more real than he thought.
Just as he was about to stuff his items into his bag, a deep voice spoke up from the front of the class. "You seemed very distracted today, Mr. Park."
Jimin's heart skipped a beat as he turned to face Jungkook, who was leaning against the edge of his long desk, his eyes fixed on Jimin with an unnerving intensity.
The other students were all gone, leaving them alone in a quiet classroom.
Jimin felt a flush rise to his cheeks as he nodded at Jungkook, not trusting himself to speak.
He turned back to gathering his things, trying to appear nonchalant despite his racing heart.
Jungkook chuckled, the sound sending chills down Jimin's spine. "I've never seen you like this before," he said, his voice low and husky.
Jimin didn't respond, just continued to pack up his belongings.
He could feel Jungkook's eyes on him, boring into his skin like a physical touch.
It was unsettling, but Jimin refused to let it get to him.
Finally, Jimin was done gathering his things. he grabbed the easel and began walking to the front of the classroom but before he could pass Jungkook he suddenly stepped in front of him, blocking his way. "Can I see it?" Jungkook asked, his eyes pointing to the canvas in Jimin's hands.
Jimin's hand tightened around his bag strap, and he scoffed, "You have your whole life to be an ashhole," he said sharply. "Can't you take one day off?" he was a little shocked at his own outburst but kept his completion soft.
Jungkook was just driving him crazy. And he didn't know why.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, a small smile playing on his lips as he laughed. "I'm just curious," he said. "We've been working on this for two days and I haven't seen you working,"
Jimin scoffed again, "Yeah, I'm sure you enjoyed pointing that out yesterday." he said and began walking past him.
Jungkook took a step closer, blocking him with his eyes burning with intensity, "I'd like to see it." he repeated.
Jimin's breath caught in his throat as Jungkook inched closer, the faint scent of his cologne enveloping Jimin's senses.
Jimin's eyes locked onto Jungkook's face, finally noticing the small, hidden mole under Jungkook's bottom lip as if for the first time.
