"Ok, so the Female Volunteers for the 103rd Hunger Games are, Discordia Becker, Sabine Conrete, June Naysmith, and Cressida de Montfort, and since there are no Male Volunteers which is odd, I will just draw a name," Dallas Carson (Victor of the 102nd) said to the crowd of District 2 citizens, this was my last year until I was 19 and unable to volunteer anymore, so I was going to do my best.
Dallas pulled out a name and read out "Leonis Cavanaugh", the boy walked up to the platform and we, The Female Volunteers, were escorted to the Arena.
I was placed in the Mountains Arena and had bracelets placed on both wrists and neck, and once we were good to go, we started to fight, I ripped off all the bracelets of Cressida, and Discordia did the same for Sabine.
once it was only the two of us, I charged at her and ripped off her bracelets, I was to be District 2's Female tribute for the 103rd Hunger Games, and the male tribute was of course, Leonis.
We were taken to the Hall of Justice and said goodbye to friends and family, I had little friends and I said goodbye to them, and said goodbye to my only living family, my father Ryker Naysmith.
I said goodbye and boarded the train to the Capitol, a bit happy that I was going to bring pride to my District.
