"Did they find out something about Jungkook?" Jimin asked.. Not looking at Taehyung... Suddenly everything got silent..
"No" Taehyung's voice cut through the quiet, while Jimin simply nodded in silence, mustering a smile in his direction.

An eighteen-year-old boy cast his gaze downward, eyes clenched shut, as a barrage of taunts from his adoptive parents filled the air.
He endured the rebukes for his minor errors, easily forgivable by any measure, yet there was no one to offer him that clemency.
He withstood it all until he was blamed for something that wasn't even his doing...
They accused Jungkook of breaking the vase, even though he hadn't laid a finger on it.
"N-no Eomma.. I-I didn't b-break it.." He attempted to speak without shuttering, but fear betrayed him, causing his voice to tremble. His large doe eyes, brimming with an unmistakable innocence, searched for understanding, but found none.
"No you didn't even touch it. It was me who broke the vase right?" Mrs. Lee turned a dismissive gaze upon Jungkook as his tears streamed down in silent testament to his distress.
"This time I am leaving you but next time, no one can save you from me.." Mrs. Lee's words came out as a threat, her finger aimed at Jungkook who, lacking the courage to meet her gaze, kept his eyes downcast. She departed with Mr. Lee, leaving a tearful Jungkook behind in solitude.

Jungkook perched on the bench, fingers gliding through his silky hair. A tap on his shoulder jolted him, and he raised his head, already aware of who stood behind him...
Lisa, his sole confidant and dearest friend. Over the span of ten years, her presence was the only solace in his turbulent life.
Jungkook turned around to find Lisa standing there, a look of concern etched on her face. She took a seat on the bench beside him.
"Kook.. Something happened?" Lisa inquired, her hand resting on Kook's shoulder, laden with concern. Kook mustered a faint smile and shook his head in denial.
"You know right you can't hide anything from me?" With a gentle hit on his shoulder, Lisa recieved a soft giggle from Kook. "Now tell me what happened na.." Lisa stared at his face, waiting for him to response..
Kook recounted the recent incident, and Lisa let out a sigh. She was all too aware of the recurring tribulations her dear friend faced, feeling powerless to change them.
"The only thing I can say is.. If I were you, I would have ran away years ago.."
Jungkook's gaze fixed on her, words failing to escape his lips. What could he say? Fear had rendered him silent, branding him a coward in his own eyes.
"You are useless.."
"Just a burden to the world.."
"Just useless.."
"Trash"
"Annoying..."
"Shit"
The echo of those words reverberated in his ears as he gazed at Lisa, unseeing. Her words were an undeniable truth.
"Just run away Kook.. Don't think about anything.. Nothing will happen.. It's been 10 years since you are just suffering like this.. Don't you feel tired? How long will you be able to take these?"
Kook absorbed her words in silence. A single tear betrayed his stoic facade. Lisa offered a comforting pat before rising to her feet.
"I have to go now. Take care and be strong.. Don't let them just hurt you like that.." She said before walking away.. Kook just stared at the way Lisa has just gone..
