Taehyung's embrace enveloped Jungkook, pulling him into the cozy living room. The soft fabric of the couch cradled Jungkook as he wept, seeking solace in the familiar presence of his brother..
Jimin and Taehyung felt their hearts ache witnessing Jungkook-their younger brother-cry like that. As Taehyung held Kook close, the pain in Jungkook's heart appeared to gradually dissipate.
As Jungkook's sobs gradually seemed to fade away, Jimin found the strength to inquire, "What happened, Kookie?" Meanwhile, Taehyung continued to affectionately ruffle Jungkook's messy yet soft hair.
As Jungkook looked up at Jimin and Taehyung, both of them realized just how much he had transformed. The last time they saw him, they were 11 and 12 years old. Yet one thing remained unchanged: the baby-faced innocence and the depth in Kook's doe eyes.
Despite Jungkook's red nose from crying, he remained utterly adorable in Vmin's eyes. Even though he had grown up, to them, he was still a precious baby.
Jungkook poured out his heart, revealing the painful truth about Mr. and Mrs. Lee-his so-called step-parents-who casually decided to sell him to a wealthy buyer. Vmin's shock was indescribable. How could anyone be so heartless? Whether or not he was their biological son, the cruelty of such an act was unfathomable.
Jungkook found solace in Jimin and Taehyung's presence. Their gentle touch-a brotherly warmth-soothed him, lightening the burden on his heart.
As Jungkook finished recounting the entire incident-the abuse, the pain-Mr. and Mrs. Lee suddenly appeared. Their voices cut through the air, harsh and demanding: "JUNGKOOK, GET UP AND PACK YOUR THINGS. A WEALTHY MAN IS HERE TO TAKE YOU."
The tension thickened, leaving Jungkook torn between past trauma and an uncertain future.
Startled, Jimin and Taehyung sprang up from the couch. They couldn't allow their long-lost brother, whom they had finally found after years, to be taken away like this. Jungkook had already endured so much. Their determination surged-they would fight for him.
Taehyung's voice held unwavering determination as he shot sharp glares at Mr. and Mrs. Lee. Their indifference only fueled his resolve. "No, he won't go." he asserted. However, Mrs. Lee's chilling response cut through the tension: "But he is sold." Jimin, arms crossed, knew they were up against an unyielding adversary. They wouldn't back down easily.
Jimin's voice held unwavering resolve. "He will go with us." he declared sternly. Mr. Lee shook his head in disbelief, countering, "And why would he?" Meanwhile, Jungkook wept, his tears a torrent. He didn't want to go anywhere; he longed for the home he knew 12 years ago-the real home, not this place that felt like hell under Mr. Lee's cruelty.
Taehyung's determination shone through as he stepped forward, resolute. "Then we will buy him." he declared. "We'll offer you three times the amount the other buyer is supposed to pay." Jimin's brows furrowed, but he remained silent-fully aware of Taehyung's sharp mind and unwavering resolve.
Mr. Lee hesitated, exchanging a silent glance with Mrs. Lee. Their unspoken conversation hung heavy in the air. Finally, Mr. Lee addressed Taehyung, "Okay... But the money?" Jimin's smile was anything but genuine as he replied, "We'll take him today. Meet us at our cabin, and then we'll pay."
Mr. Lee nodded, uttering, "Alright, then. Take this burden away, please." Jimin's clenched fists betrayed his anger, yet he held his tongue-aware that the moment demanded patience and restraint.
Jimin and Taehyung approached Jungkook. Jimin extended his hand, but Jungkook remained frozen. With a gentle smile, Jimin clasped Kook's hand, leading him away from the mansion-a departure from the hellish existence he had endured. Together, they escaped the cruelty of that heartless couple, forging a new path toward healing and reunion.
