Taehyung held Jungkook’s trembling hand securely as Jimin drove away in the car. Kook remained fearful of both of them, avoiding eye contact with Vmin. Yet, an inexplicable sense of comfort enveloped him.
Jimin attempted to engage in conversation with Jungkook after a long time, but Jungkook remained unresponsive.
The car came to a halt before an imposing mansion.
Jungkook continued walking, Taehyung’s hand firmly in his grasp. Despite Vmin’s persistent efforts, he remained as silent as a doe.
As they entered the mansion, Jimin's gentle voice broke the silence. "I'll show you to your room." he murmured, leading Jungkook down the hallway. Jungkook simply nodded, his emotions still a whirlwind.
As they stepped into the room, they were greeted by opulence. The king-sized bed dominated the space, its rich marbled floor complementing the brown and white theme. A spacious bathroom and an empty walk-in closet awaited them, large enough to accommodate an entire family.
Jimin’s voice was soft as he said, "Freshen up, Kook. You don’t have any clothes here, but you can borrow ours." Jungkook felt a mix of emotions—gratitude, confusion. Indeed, despite the weight of their past, Jungkook sensed a genuine concern from Jimin and Taehyung. Their actions spoke louder than any words, weaving a fragile thread of trust between them.
Jimin’s smile reached Jungkook, a fleeting moment of warmth that hinted at something deeper.
Jungkook’s attempt at a smile faltered, but the weight of the truth—Vmin bought him—held him back. Instead, he locked eyes with Jimin, finding a familiar gaze that now felt distant, like that of a stranger..
Jimin passed a set of Taehyung’s clothes to Kook, instructing him to join them downstairs after freshening up. Jungkook’s gaze lingered on the oversized garments; they seemed to swallow him whole Despite this, he headed toward the washroom, caught between uncertainty and curiosity.

Jungkook descended the stairs, his gaze darting from behind the curtains. Vmin appeared engrossed in a serious conversation. As he glanced down at the oversized black hoodie enveloping him, Jungkook wondered if they would find his appearance amusing. The fabric hung loose, a tangible reminder of the gap between his past and this uncertain present.
Jungkook hesitated, unsure how to approach Vmin. However, Taehyung immediately recognized him. Jimin’s gaze mirrored Taehyung’s. "Oh, Kook, come here." Taehyung beckoned. Jungkook glanced at the floor and shuffled toward them, his steps tentative.
Taehyung couldn’t help but find him adorable in the oversized clothes. As for Jimin, he hadn’t anticipated Jungkook’s surprising height–He was really tall.. Jimin didn't notice this.
Taehyung rose from his seat and addressed Jungkook, "Have your dinner, hm? Jimin hyung and I are heading out." Jungkook simply nodded, unsure of what to say. However, two things brightened his mood: he now knew the shorter male’s name—Jimin—and he would have some time alone. Sometimes, even silence held its own kind of comfort.

As Taehyung and Jimin sat side by side in the cabin, their feet tapping against the marble floor, they awaited Mr. Lee's arrival with anticipation.
The wooden door creaked open, revealing Mr. Lee and Mrs. Lee standing in the threshold. Taehyung’s attempt at a deep voice had Jimin stifling a chuckle, but they both maintained their serious expressions as they came in.
As Mrs. Lee shut the door, Taehyung and Jimin rose from their seats. The Lee couple’s intentions were clear—they sought money—but Vmin had no intention of yielding. Their resolve remained unshakable.
"You have to pay.." Taehyung’s declaration left Mr. and Mrs. Lee bewildered. "What? You’re the ones supposed to pay." they countered. Jimin’s smirk concealed a storm of emotions in his eyes, a silent battle of wills unfolding in that dimly lit room.
"No, you are the one, you have to pay for the things you did to our brother.." Jimin’s voice erupted, rage and sorrow intertwining. His eyes, red with anger, betrayed the tears he held back. The room crackled with tension, a battle of justice and pain..
Mr. and Mrs. Lee’s eyes widened in shock. Mr. Lee stammered, "H-he is your b-brother?" Taehyung nodded and stepped forward. "Yes, he is. And both of you hurt my precious brother. Tortured him since he was 8? You have to pay for this…" Taehyung’s voice almost rose, tears blurring his vision. The thought of how Jungkook suffered since he was 8 haunted him. Perhaps they couldn’t protect Kook; he couldn’t be there for him.
Jimin and Taehyung brandished guns from their concealed holsters, causing the Lee couple's eyes to widen in shock. The tension in the room escalated as everyone realized the imminent danger.
"You've tormented my brother long enough. Now it's time to face the consequences." Taehyung declared, his gun trained on Mr. and Mrs. Lee. Panic etched across their faces as they futilely attempted to escape through the locked door, but failed to do..
"H..hey what are y..you doing? W..we hurt Kook we a..are sorry for th..that.. Pls don't–" Jimin's calm yet angry voice cut through the room. "Too late." In unison, they pulled their triggers, and Mr. and Mrs. Lee crumpled lifelessly to the floor. The air hung heavy with the irreversible consequences of their actions.
As Jimin's tears flowed, Taehyung covered his face with trembling hands. At last, they had exacted revenge for their brother. Finally.
Emerging from the cabin, Taehyung and Jimin instructed one of their men, "Clean up the mess. We're returning to Jungkook; he's alone there." The man nodded in assurance, and the two of them made their way back to their mansion.
