When Pim woke up, he felt like he was floating.

He felt lighter than he'd ever felt before. For a moment, he felt at peace. For rhe first time since the incident, he felt like everything was okay.

It was quiet.

Too quiet.

Eventually, he was able to open his eyes, immediately shooting up to his feet and taking in his surroundings.

The clouds above him were pierced with beautiful rays of sunshine. The sky above him glistened with gold, so perfect that it was almost sickening. He felt as light as a feather, and noticed his wound was no longer there.

It was then that he realized it.
He was in heaven.
Far, far away from Charlie.

He fucked up.

"No. No, no, no! I shouldnt be here! I can't be here!" Pim yelled, his voice echoing through the clouds.

"What troubles you, young Pim?" A voice boomed from behind him. Pim turned around and was greeted by a gigantic beard. Large, frightening eyes peered down on him, glistening in the sunlight that showered them. Pim was face-to-face with God, and he never thought he'd hate it so much.
His breath hitched.

"I need to save my friend." He said weakly. "He's in hell. I was supposed to meet him there. But I'm here. I need to see him." Pim pleaded desperately.

"Ah. You're the yellow ones friend, aren't you? I've been keeping an eye on him."

"you have? How is he?" Pim asked eagerly.

"See for yourself." God said. He waved his hand over a cloud, a crystal mirror forming in its place. It reflected where Charlie was.

Charlie looked beaten down. He had been tortured, he was bleeding from his hips. Puncture wounds riddled his stomach, and he was adorned with bruises and slashes. He was missing one of his eyes, and blood dripped from his mouth. He looked terrible.

Pim covered his mouth with his hands, tears streaming down his face.

"We need to save him." Pim whispered.
"We can't leave him there."

"Pim, I can't do that." god said. "His actions led to this path. He did this to himself."

"Please, I'll do anything! Just bring us back to earth!! Please!!"

Pim looked into gods eyes, his blood growing hot as he heard each excuse.

"I can't do that."

"Then send me down there!" Pim yelled. "Let me save him!"

His face flooded with tears at the sight of Charlie. He'd rather die (again) than watch someone he loved get tortured for eternity.

"If I send you down," The voice boomed, "I cannot garauntee your safety."

"I'm okay with that."

Suddenly, Pim was struck with extreme fatigue. He could no longer support his weight, and struggled to keep his balance. Eventually, he fell onto his back, feeling paralysed. With each second that passed, he felt himself falling further into a deep sleep, unable to fight the drowsiness.

After a minute, he was knocked out.

Pim awoke once more, this time in a very cold and uncomfortable setting. Before he could even open his eyes, he could hear a faint cry in the distance. He became overwhelmed with a sudden sense of dread.

He pushed himself up with his arms, his eyes darting around him for any sign of Charlie. He couldn't help but notice how frozen everything was. It was cold, desolate, and depressing. He would've never guessed hell to be like this.
