TW: Weed, smoking, drinking

"Alien drugs? What is this stuff even called?"

"I'm not sure, but c'mon Alan! It'll be fun!" Pim said cheerily. Alan narrowed his eyes at the small baggie filled with an unidentifiable
plant.

"I'd rather eat the mushrooms growing in Glep's toilet than eat whatever this is." He joked, making Glep furrow his brows.

"Glep has toilet mushrooms?" Charlie questioned, raising a brow.

Glep defensively rambled in his own language, which basically translated to "fuck off, it's none of your business."

"Okay, okay, jeez." Charlie laughed, raising his hands in defense.

"Well Charlie, let's get this show on the road!" Pim smiled, putting the bag back in his pocket.

"Yeah, let's." Charlie nodded. "We'll see you guys on Monday then."

"Okay, bye. Be safe." Alan said half-heartedly.

And with that, the two critters walked out the door, heading for Pim's car.

Since the alien party, Charlie and Pim were looking for ways to get their hands on those alien substances again. They managed to connect with an alien through the theremin, and they were willing to sell. Instead of money, they insisted on earthly weed as payment (because apparently it sold really well on other planets), so Charlie gave up some of his stash. They were also able to get their hands on the alien Tony Hawk game that Charlie wanted.

Since it was a Friday, the two had prepared the day before; they got snacks, drinks, and the proper console to play the skating game on. It was all prepared at Pim's house, so they didn't have to worry about anything once they got there.

The two got into the car silently, and Pim began feeling a bit anxious over the whole thing. He had hoped Alan would come with them, to stop him in case he did anything stupid if he blacked out around Charlie.

Normally, Charlie made him feel safe, he preferred being with him over being alone. When it came to drinking or drugs, however, he almost dreaded being alone with Charlie. Charlie was the best trip-sitter, and was always super gentle and caring, but Pim hated the idea of saying something stupid and fucking up their whole friendship. He hated the possibility of him slipping up and confessing something that he wanted to take to his grave. Something he knew would earn him a broken heart.

He controlled his breathing, trying not to freak out around Charlie. He drove silently, his eyes never leaving the road.

"Are you alright?" Pim heard from beside him.

Pim forced a smile.
"Yep! Traffics just getting on my nerves."

Despite the fact that there were barely any other cars on the road, and it was fairly obvious that Pim was just dismissing Charlie, the taller critter decided to leave it be. He didn't want to pressure him to talk, or make him uncomfortable. He let the silence fill the car once more, watching the street signs and trees zoom by as they got closer to Pim's house.

Eventually, Pim slowed down as he pulled into the parking spot outside his apartment. Once parked, he threw off his seatbelt and hopped out of the car. Charlie followed him out, and jogged a bit to catch up with Pim. The two walked up the stairs and down the hall, stopping at Pim's door. He unlocked it and stepped inside, leaving the door open for Charlie. He set down his stuff on the counter and made his way to the couch, plopping down onto it with a deep sigh.

"Alright, you ready to get fucked up?" Charlie asked jokingly, already reaching for the bong.

"Yeah, for sure." Pim answered, still a bit unnerved. He took a deep breath once more in an attempt to calm himself down.
