When he wanted to leave, the vault door suddenly locked by itself, and a bright light emanated from the Keris. Alam, who witnessed this, was startled and even more surprised when the light slowly transformed into the form of a small humanoid girl with long hair, but her figure was still unclear because the light was too bright.

"Y-You!"

"Another thief? You will feel the consequences."

Alam was already scared of the figure in front of him. The figure, so bright and floating, suddenly appeared in front of him after he took the Keris, of course he was afraid.

He just wanted a peaceful life. Somebody give him that.

Alam continued to step back until finally, his back touched the locked vault door, and he had no escape route left.

"You will face the consequences for stealing!"

"I-I didn't steal!"

But of course, the creature did not want to hear Alam's reasons. To her, the first person she saw was a thief because they dared to enter here. Alam closed his eyes and didn't want to know what would happen to him next.

Seconds passed, then tens of seconds, and it became a full minute. Nothing happened at all. The figure and the light were still there, but she didn't do anything.

"Um... excuse me... you're not going to do anything to me?"

"What? You're not fainting like the others? How is that possible?!"

"I'll be fine if you're not going to do anything."

"Thieves have no right to speak in front of me!"

"I-I'm sorry!"

"Woo-!"

But as the figure tried to walk towards Alam, she tripped on something and fell to the ground. Automatically, the bright light surrounding her disappeared, and Alam could see her appearance more clearly.

"Ow..."

A small girl with wavy brown hair with yellow ombre, wearing a thigh-length dress with long sleeves that flared at the ends.

Her clothes didn't completely cover her shoulders, and there was also a long white ribbon around her waist that extended up to her knees. While she wore old brown leather shoes with white ribbons and a black tattoo on her left ankle.

"Are you okay?"

Though she initially scared Alam, seeing her appearance made him reluctantly concerned about her.

"Hah?! You saw me already?! Impossible, my master said I shouldn't be seen by anyone else. Oh no, what should I do?! He'll be angry with me!"

The girl rambled on to herself, disregarding Alam's concerns. After realizing Alam was still there, she looked at him sharply and assumed this was all his fault.

"You?! I won't let anyone who's seen me stay alive! Die! Woo-!"

But once again, she stumbled, as if tripping over something invisible or even more ridiculously, tripping over her own foot. Instead of fear, Alam now felt pity for this little girl, so he asked her.

"It seems like you're in trouble."

"Don't you have eyes to see? Of course, I'm in trouble. My master made me wear these shoes that I don't like, so I can't move freely right now."

"Hmm...." Alam pondered something as he looked at the shoes the girl was wearing. "W-what are you looking at?" she asked irritably. Without permission, Alam tried to remove her shoes.
