THIRD PERSON'S POV [ HANNI ]
The days following Hanni's visit to her mother passed in a blur of meetings and preparations for her impending move. The arrangement with Minji had thrown her life into disarray, and she found herself caught between her duties at Kim Enterprises and the complexities of her personal life.
One morning, Hanni was called into Mr. Kim's office. She had only met Minji's father a few times, each encounter leaving a lasting impression of his formidable presence. As she approached his office, her heart pounded with apprehension. The door was slightly ajar, and she could hear the murmur of voices inside.
Mr. Kim sat behind his imposing desk, his sharp eyes assessing her as she entered. Beside him stood Minji, her expression unreadable but her posture rigid.
"Ah, Hanni, come in," Mr. Kim greeted, gesturing to the chair opposite his desk. "We have important matters to discuss."
Hanni nodded, taking the seat and glancing briefly at Minji, who remained standing, her gaze fixed on a distant point on the wall. The tension in the room was palpable, and Hanni struggled to maintain her composure.
Mr. Kim leaned forward, his hands clasped together on the desk. "As you know, the arrangement between you and Minji is crucial for the future of Kim Enterprises. It's time to take the next step in solidifying this alliance."
Hanni swallowed hard, her mind racing with the implications of his words. "What do you mean, sir?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Mr. Kim's gaze was unwavering. "I want you to move into the mansion and live with Minji. It will give you both an opportunity to get to know each other better and present a united front to the public and our business partners."
The weight of his request settled heavily on Hanni's shoulders. She glanced at Minji, searching for any sign of her thoughts on the matter, but Minji's expression remained inscrutable.
"I understand," Hanni replied, forcing a calm tone. "When should I move in?"
"Immediately," Mr. Kim said, his tone leaving no room for negotiation. "The staff will assist you with your belongings. This is a crucial time for our family and our business, and we need to show unity."
Hanni nodded, her mind already spinning with the logistics of the move. "I will do my best, sir," she said, her voice steady despite the turmoil within her.
Mr. Kim nodded approvingly. "Very well. Minji, ensure that everything is prepared for Hanni's arrival."
Minji finally met Hanni's gaze, her eyes briefly revealing a flicker of something Hanni couldn't quite decipher. "Of course, Father," she replied, her voice calm and composed.
With the meeting concluded, Hanni stood and bowed slightly before leaving the office. Minji followed her out, and they walked in silence down the corridor. As they reached the elevator, Minji turned to Hanni.
"This won't be easy," Minji said quietly, her tone devoid of emotion. "But we have to make it work."
Hanni nodded, feeling a mix of determination and trepidation. "I know. We'll figure it out."

The Move
The next day, Hanni found herself standing outside the imposing gates of Minji's mansion, her belongings packed neatly in the trunk of the car. The mansion loomed before her, its grand facade a stark reminder of the world she was stepping into. The staff had been efficient in packing her things, and now she stood at the threshold of a new chapter in her life.
Minji greeted her at the door, her expression as guarded as ever. "Welcome," she said simply, stepping aside to let Hanni enter.
Hanni nodded, stepping into the opulent foyer. The interior of the mansion was even more impressive than she had imagined, with marble floors, ornate chandeliers, and tasteful decor that exuded wealth and sophistication. She couldn't help but feel out of place in such a grand setting.
"The staff will show you to your room," Minji said, her tone businesslike. "If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask."
"Thank you," Hanni replied, trying to mask her unease.
As she followed the staff to her room, Hanni couldn't help but feel a sense of apprehension. Living under the same roof as Minji would be a challenge, but she was determined to make the best of it. She had come this far, and she wasn't going to back down now.

Settling In
Hanni's room was spacious and elegantly furnished, with large windows that offered a stunning view of the manicured gardens outside. She unpacked her belongings methodically, trying to create a sense of normalcy in the unfamiliar surroundings. As she arranged her clothes in the closet, her thoughts drifted to her mother. She hoped Eun-joo would understand the choices she was making, even if they seemed daunting.
A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. Minji stood in the doorway, her expression unreadable. "Dinner will be served in an hour," she said. "I thought you might like to join me."
Hanni was taken aback by the invitation but quickly composed herself. "I'd like that," she replied, offering a small smile.
Minji nodded and left without another word. Hanni took a deep breath, steeling herself for the evening ahead. She knew this was just the beginning of their journey together, and she was determined to face it with courage and resilience.

Dinner
The dining room was just as grand as the rest of the mansion, with a long table set with fine china and silverware. Minji was already seated when Hanni arrived, her posture elegant and poised. Hanni took a seat across from her, feeling a mix of nerves and curiosity.
The meal was served by the staff, each dish meticulously prepared and presented. Hanni found herself struggling to focus on the food, her mind preoccupied with the dynamics between her and Minji.
"So, how are you finding the mansion?" Minji asked, breaking the silence.
"It's beautiful," Hanni replied honestly. "I'm still getting used to it, but it's lovely."
Minji nodded, her gaze thoughtful. "It takes time to adjust. This place can feel overwhelming at first."
Hanni appreciated Minji's candidness, even if it was fleeting. "I'll manage," she said with determination. "Thank you for your hospitality."
Minji's lips curved into a faint smile. "We're in this together, Hanni. We need to make it work, for both our sakes."
Hanni nodded, feeling a sense of resolve. "I agree. Let's do our best."
