"Dad, are you being serious?" You asked your dad as he announced the news.

Your dad was sitting in his chair behind his desk, his eyes looking over his notebook. He simply nodded, answering your question.

"I am being serious, y/n. With me being the next president of Korea, you need some protection. A bodyguard just for you is the best option."

You laughed. "Why a personal bodyguard? The ones who are always around are enough."

"I made this decision, so please respect it."

You formed your hands to fists.
Your father is becoming the next president of Korea next month, in two weeks exactly. Ever since he got elected to it, he is taking over the security system of our family.
Your little brother and sister can't sit in class without someone next to them, your mother can't go to pilates alone.

Your father left you alone since you haven't really been in the news before and no one really knows who his eldest daughter was. But now he has decided to change that.

He wants you to go with him to a variety show to officially announce you as his daughter. Since he made that decision, he looked for a personal bodyguard for you too.

And now it seems like he found one.

"When is he starting?" You asked again.

"Now. Come in." Your father said, still, without looking up from his notebook.

You turned around as the door to his office opened. A tall man in a black suit, his face covered with a mask came in. His hair was black and he had an undercut. He was handsome, you had to admit. But you still weren't a fan of him being your bodyguard.

"Y/n, this is Mr. Hong. He is from today on your bodyguard."

The man in front of you bowed down. "Hello."

You sighed. "Great." You turned back around to your father. "Do I have to know any more information?"

Your father looked up at you.
Wow, now he is looking.

"The variety show is on Monday, 10 a.m. I'll send you a driver who takes you there."

You nodded, not saying anything. Turning around to your new bodyguard, he already stood outside the office. You could still see him, since it was a glass wall.

You left the office. The moment you stepped outside, your new shadow stood right behind you, only a few inches away from you - but still close enough to feel his presence. A cold shower overcame your body.

You went to the elevator and waited for the door to open. After you went in, you pressed the button to go downstairs, your bodyguard right behind you.

"Just to make this clear, I'm not a fan of this situation. So don't think I'll cooperate with you." You said to the man behind you.

You heard him laughing silently.
Before you could turn around to him, you felt his breath on your ear.

"Don't worry, I'll make you cooperate."
