Hey guys! First chapter of the day! I successfully got back from Hawaii yesterday night, and I was planning on doing this chapter yesterday night, but my I accidentally forgot the luggage that had all my stuff in it in my relative's car. I got it back though! Thanks so much for all your sweet comments and supporting messages, I'm tearing up! This is the fifteenth chapter of this fanfiction, and all of the other fanfictions I've written haven't even surpassed 7. It's because of your support and belief in me that I can do all this, so thank you so much. Have fun reading, as always!
As the three of them walked to the plane, the Hawthorne brothers, already there, stood in shock.
All of them were thinking the same thing: she has two boyfriends???
"Hey guys," Avery greeted coldly, obviously still bitter, "Please meet my business partner Anderson, and his brother Warner."
"Like the Warner Bros. ?" Xander blurted out unintentionally.
Avery was horrified.
"No, no, it's fine," Anderson laughed, clearly amused, "Warner gets called that all the time, huh Warner?"
Warner just stared at them all.
Jameson stared right back.
Who is this guy? Jameson thought. And why is he so depressing? What's he doing with Avery?
"Well if there's nothing left to say here, we should get going," Avery said, signaling for the pilot to start the plane.
"HOLD ON," someone yelled just before the plane door closed.
"Who are you?" Avery demanded.
Max hurried in, breathing hard.
"Max?! What are you doing here?" everyone said, surprised at her immediate entrance.
"I know my bestie was having some emotional problems," Max said, fake crying, "So I knew I had to come. That's what best friends do."
Avery was touched. Out of all the crap of the past few days, she really needed someone to care. To care about her.
The two girls went to a separate part of the plane to talk, leaving all the men in the same room.
Awkward.
"So, who are you? Where are you from?" Jameson asked Warner, skeptical.
"I'm Warner, obviously. I'm the son of the supreme commander of North America, and am in charge of Sector 45," Warner explained, annoyed.
What the heck is a 'supreme commander'? And what is Sector 45?
"What's your connection with Avery?" Jameson asked, prepared for the answer.
"She's my brother's business partner. That's it. I've," Warner paused, "I've got someone else back at home."
After that, the plane ride was awkwardly silent. Why are all the plane rides silent?
It definitely wasn't silent with Max and Avery though.
3 hours and two boxes of tissues later, Max and Avery cried through all of Taylor Swift's albums, together, like the best friends they were.
"I missed you, Avery," Max admitted, one of the few times she's serious.
Laughing and crying, Avery said, "I really missed you too, Max. Things really are better when you're around."
