Papyrus hummed a bit, noting down that sans was waking up again.

"Morning sans." Papyrus told his brother, a passive look on his face.

Sans perked up, "morning brother!"

Sans carefully got off of his younger brother to start practice with drawing in the air as well.

"You sleep good?" Papyrus asked, humming a little bit, still not caring but aware of what he should be asking and what to do most of the time.

"Yep! I have a strange feeling that we will be seeing colors pretty soon!" Sans cheerfully replied.

Papyrus titled his head forward at that, "that would be nice. Then we could travel around.."

Sans just cheerfully smiled, "yep! It would be awesome to see everything that we can if we ever escape from here."

Seems like sans might be aware that papyrus was trying to make a portal out of here somehow. Either from his dreams..or he was watching papyrus as he worked on trying to make a portal.

Papyrus hummed at that, a blank stare as he worked on the portal again, maybe he needed to try to put intent into it?

Would that help? Like he wants to make a portal really bad..or something like that...

Papyrus will have to see what will happen, could he even put intent to it? Was that emotions or just what he wanted to do and wanted to make happen?

He'll learn as he goes, papyrus thought to himself, noticing that sans was looking at him a little bit from the corner of his eye socket.

"We will soon find a way out, don't doubt that sans." Papyrus told his brother who just smiled in response.

"I look forward to it." Sans just smiled as he continued to practicing.

Papyrus just hummed a little bit at that, he finally moved his other hand to start practicing with both hands at drawing a portal together, maybe that was what he was missing?

Hmm he should start making the portal drawing bigger as well instead of it being so small...

Papyrus huffed a bit as he slowly started to draw the portal bigger, still adding details to it as he did so, this was going to take a while...

Papyrus thought to himself as he continued to work on it while sans was drawing or attempting to draw a cat that papyrus drew a few days ago.

Papyrus attempted a smile at that, "you're getting better sans."

Sans bounced a bit in place, "and soon I'll get as good as you!"

"Maybe even better than me."  Papyrus told sans who shook his head.

"Nah, I don't think I want to be better than you, I just want to get as good as you. You're the one to teach me how to do this after all." Sans told papyrus who just blinked with a passive stare.

"...if that's what you want, then just keep practicing, practicing helps with getting better usually." Papyrus told sans who just nodded at that.

Sans just looked determined as he continued to draw as papyrus finally turned his attention back to his drawing of a portal and continued to make it bigger with details kept being put into place.

Papyrus finally got it to being a bit bigger then himself and paused, closing his eye sockets and focused a bit.

He heard a silent gasping sound, barely any sound from it from where sans was at but didn't open his eye sockets yet, it wasn't fully completed yet..

He needs to focus more..and that's what he continued to do for the next while...

Ja ne~!

Just something to look at to be sure I don't forget lol

death and dreary, dreary was the deity of dull, bleak, lifeless, and depression.

Though he had one more hold over something that wasn't his with a bonus, that was given to him by their life deity, and that was over thriving and just a bit, over some souls that contain emotions. He'll eventually give it to his chosen when the time comes, but that time was not now.
