"Do I look all right, Sunghoon?" Haeun asked as she turned to face him. Sunghoon's mouth fell wide open.

Haeun, dressed in a short, sage green, satin dress with white, leather givenchy boots. She had her hair pulled back in a high ponytail with gel, and her makeup made her look like another person. Her eyeshadow glittered in the light.

"Answer!" Haeun laughed as she spun around in circles, laughing.

Sunghoon admired her from head to toe. "You look beautiful. That color looks so beautiful on you!"

In an hour they had to go to the jazz club a few minutes away, looking for him, his name still unknown, but hiding under the initials L.HS. They had to find him and find out information about the guy.

It would be difficult, since he's not generous in his responses, but they are so close anyway.

"Really?" Haeun asked, doubting herself. "I don't know if this is enough to complete what he asked us to do."

"It's more than enough," Sunghoon said, rubbing her arm soothingly.

Haeun turned herself around and saw that the back of her dress was not completely zipped up. She stretched out her arms but couldn't reach it. She sighed deeply. "Sunghoon?" She asked.

"Yes?" He responded.

"Can you zip up the zipper for me, please? I can't do it. My arms are too short," She giggled.

"Of course," Sunghoon said as she turned her back towards him and put her ponytail out of the way.

Slowly, Sunghoon brought his hands towards the zipper and zipped the dress up. "Isn't it too tight?" He said, struggling to completely zip it up, but eventually managed to.

"It's fine! Thank you!" She thanked him, grabbed her purse and sat down on the edge of her bed.

She opened her purse and checked that everything was in it. Pepper spray, her fake ID card with her pseudonym, some money, lipstick with a knife in it in case something happened and an actual lip gloss with a small mirror. A little after, she applied the tiny microphone to her bra, making sure to not see it, she checked herself in the mirror standing in front of her bed.

Sunghoon put on his blazer and fanned his hair so that if, in a case, he still happened to meet L.HS somewhere on the street, he would not recognize him. Haeun, on the other hand, had her makeup on differently than usual.

"Ready?" Sunghoon said as he put a gun in the pocket of his blazer.

"Not yet," Haeun smiled as she grabbed her phone and stood next to Sunghoon. "A selfie first!"

Sunghoon chuckled. "Right now? We got to be there before he arrived, Haeun."

"Just smile!" Haeun exclaimed as she pouted her lips and did a peace sign with her hand.

Sunghoon smiled and put an arm around her shoulder and lowered himself to her level, so that their faces were next to each other.

She clicked the button and the phone took a selfie. She then left her phone on the bed and grabbed the keys of the hotelroom, putting it in her purse. "Now we're good to go."

The duo sat on the red stools that stood at the bar, though a few stools away from each other. They communicated by speaking a kind of sign language with their eyes. It was their way of talking when they were on a mission. At times when they could speak to each other, they did so through their earpieces, but never did they come into physical contact with each other.

"Summer?"

Haeun looked at Sunghoon, who just called her by her alibi through the earpiece. She immediately looked away. "Yes?"

"I just got a message that he will be here in two minutes. Be careful, please."

"I will, Damon."

With those words, Haeun ended the conversation between each other. She took a shot and then walked to a corridor, where several people were kissing each other. Some girls were already in bras ready to be fucked in the toilets.

She shook it off and laughed. Walking down the hallway, she eventually came to a large ballroom where a live jazz orchestra was playing. At the back of the hall in the middle was a large staircase with a red carpet across it. And there he was.

He stood at the top, with a cigarette between his lips looking down with two bodyguards behind him. He was observing the entire room.

"Damon, I found him," She said through her earpiece.

"I'll be there in five minutes, sitting or standing somewhere in a corner, just drinking and observing. Do your job, Summer. I trust you."

Haeun ran down the middle of the hall, right through dancing people who drunkenly bumped into her. When she finally made it through all the chaos, she sat down on a leather couch, her leg over the other. The song The Girl From Ipanema began to play. Haeun smiled. This was her cue to begin.

She looked to the side and saw L.HS walking down the stairs by himself, his bodyguards remaining at the top. She kept watching him, observing him. And then, finally but still, he looked back. Their eye contact locked and time stood still for a moment. L.HS smirked and winked at her. Haeun smiled and coaxed him toward her by pointing to the spot next to her on the couch by rubbing on it.

And he did.

He walked toward Haeun and when he finally stood in front of her, he took her hand and got down on one knee. He placed a charming kiss on the top of her hand. "My lady, how beautiful you are," he spoke and stood up. He took a seat next to her and put his arm around her. The other hand he placed on her thigh. "What is your name, young lady?"

She looked up to him and quietly observed him, trying to remember as much of his features, but then fell silent. It was the first time having eye contact since 5 years ago. He changed so much.

"Summer," Haeun replied. "My name is Summer. Yours?"

"Oh lady, that's not important what my name is. It's all about you tonight," L.HS responded and brought his hand further up her thigh.

Shit... She thought.

"Well, I'm really interested in you, sir," Haeun said, stroking him on his chest. "I want to get to know you."

"Let's do a drink first, beautiful," He said, stood up and grabbed her hand, making her stand up too. "And dance."

"Okay," Haeun agreed and looked at him with a seductive smile. Her eyes radiated pure lust, which excited him.

Hand in hand, they walked to the bar, past Sunghoon, who was just approaching the ballroom. The moment seemed to go in slow motion. Very briefly, she made eye contact with her colleague, but that disappeared within half a second, though it felt like an eternity.

But a second later she already heard him wailing through the earpiece, telling her to watch out for him.

She looked back, but he had already disappeared into the mass of people. She wanted to sigh, but had to stay in her role.

It's going to be another tough night...
