It felt like she couldn't get up. Her eyes hurt from the sunlight, which blinded her vision.
The white bedding was blissful, like heaven. Haeun could stay in it for hours.
She yawned because of fatigue and turned around, but as she turned she bumped into something hard...
Out of fright, she widened her eyes and saw Sunghoon lying with his eyes closed next to her, with his arm under her pillow. Shirtless, he was.
She was startled and crawled out of bed in a hurry. “What the fuck?” She cursed under her breath as she looked at him, almost panting.
Suddenly she remembered. Him who kissed her, her who kissed back. He kissed her neck and took off his shirt and... OH MY GOD... they wouldn't have... right?
Sweat ran down her back as she thought about last night. She put her hand over her mouth to quiet her breathing so he wouldn't wake up.
"I have to get out of here," She whispered softly to herself as she ran up to her suitcase, just to make a mess out of it.
She grabbed a white, tight blouse and a black, satin maxi skirt, paired with short heels. She got dressed in the bathroom and did her make up as pretty as she could. She also put in some hair rollers to create the perfect blowout look.
Walking back to the main room, she found Sunghoon there, still asleep.
Haeun sighed. She couldn't stand the feeling anymore. She wanted to see him again.
She needed to see Heeseung.
The girl walked up to her suitcase and grabbed a small bag. Opening the zipper, she grabbed Heeseung's card out of it, with his phone number written on it.
She smiled, grabbed her phone and filled in his number in her contacts. She opened messenger and started typing;
'Hi, Heeseung, right? It's me, Summer. I thought maybe we could see each other today? To go on a date? Please let me know ASAP. Kisses.'
Send.
She looked back at the sleeping Sunghoon. "I'll make sure we get information about him. I'm gonna prove you that I can do my job right. Sunghoon, I'm gonna make you proud," She spoke quietly.
Out of nowhere, Haeun got a notification. She turned to her phone and grabbed it, only to see that Heeseung had texted her back.
'Hey Sum, it's me! Thank god you texted me! I was scared you wouldn't. I'd love to go on a date with you, gorgeous. What about meeting me at the Empire State? I can take you to my favorite restaurant and we can go on a walk after. Let's meet at 3 in the noon, so that we have enough time to talk with each other too. Love ya. Kisses back."
Haeun smiled at her phone as she read his text, kinda starting to blush, feeling weird in her stomach.
She had to do it for work related reasons, so she had to put the actual reason behind and focus.
The girl jumped softly around the room in happiness and put her phone next to Sunghoon's. Looking in the mirror, she took off her hair rollers quickly and applied another layer of lipstick to her lips before checking herself out.
She grabbed a small piece of paper and a pen, writing down something for Sunghoon. She left it on the desk.
Hurriedly, she grabbed a phone, not looking at which one she handed out for. She put it in her purse and immediately left.
As the door slammed shut, Sunghoon woke up by some noise. He blinked softly, trying to adjust his eyes with the sunlight, just to make himself find himself in an empty bed.
He suddenly remembered the night before and got suspicion. "Haeun?" He asked with a raspy voice as he looked around the room while rubbing his eyes.
As he didn't hear her answering, he stood up out of nervousness. He searched everywhere, but couldn't seem to find his colleague, who slowly turned into a crush.
He opened the balcony doors, and looked around the city in just his shorts. As he couldn't seem to find her within the crowd, he gave up. He turned around and ran his hands through his hair, sighing deeply.
The fresh and cold city wind of New York blew into the room, colliding with Sunghoon's back and some other objects in the room.
Suddenly, something started to fly around the room. Sunghoon frowned as he noticed it was a piece of paper. He snatched it out of the air and read what was on it.
'Hey Hoonie! Sorry that I left :( It may feels weird, but I'm about to do something so cool! You won't believe me when I come back. See you tonight bestie! Bai!' It said.
Sunghoon rolled his eyes as he folded the piece of paper aggressively and threw it in the trash. He reached out for his phone, but as he grabbed it, he realised something.
It was Haeun her phone...
The boy looked everywhere to find his phone, but later on he noticed that she left the room with his.
"Shit!" Sunghoon cursed as he tried to guess Haeun her password.
What was this girl on to?
After a few tries and having to wait for 5 minutes after guessing wrong too many times, he finally guessed it. It was Heeseung's birth date...
He chuckled sarcastically and opened her recent chats. He gasped as he saw his name on top of messenger.
"Heeseung?!" Sunghoon scoffed out of disbelief as he clicked their chats.
He read every text, even though it were only two, but they were good enough to notice that something weird was going on, what would ruin everything.
Their kiss? Was it even real?
Sunghoon started questioning it.
He decided to call the headquarters in Seoul.
"Hey," Sunghoon said as they picked up the phone. "I have a serious problem. I want you to track down my phone. Haeun left with mine and is probably in danger. She left nothing but a note. Send me her live location as soon as possible on this number."
The boy hung up and dressed himself as fast as he could.
He wished he could kill Heeseung.
