Opening the door of her hotel room, she stepped in and took of her jacket. It was completely silent. Looking at the digital clock on the desk, she found herself arriving home at 4 in the noon.
She suspected Sunghoon wasn't there yet. Still at the new known location. She couldn't find his jacket and shoes either.
Sighing in relief, Haeun walked towards her suitcase, ready to change on a black tracksuit, just to get scared by Sunghoon standing in the corner of the room, hiding there from behind.
Haeun screamed a little. "What the fuck!" She yelled.
"Where were you?" Sunghoon asked, stepping towards her slowly.
"I just went on a walk!" She lied, her face turning as red as the sunset.
"Don't be silly, Haeun. You wouldn't be wearing your spy suit if you went out on a walk."
Haeun sighed, sitting down on the floor, looking up at his large body. He stared down at her, his eyes turning siren.
It felt like they turned enemies in a second.
"Sunghoon... I did something good. Good for our job! Good for our journey in arresting Heeseung!"
Sunghoon tilted his head, frowning at her. He crossed his arms. "Are you sure you didn't ruin it, AGAIN?"
"I found the room that has the drug storage and I made sure he lost several pounds on the new drugs by putting it in a bag and letting it drown in a river far from the city!"
"Are you fucking crazy?!" Sunghoon yelled immediately, his voice echoing.
Haeun flinched and ducked back. "What's wrong?!" She yelled back, standing up. "I did the right thing!"
“No, Haeun!” He screamed, frustrated, running his hands through his hair. "Do you understand all the consequences of what you have done to us? We are fucked right now! Heeseung probably knows now that the police is onto him in New York because you made him lose lots of pounds of drugs! He will make sure he's gone within a week, Haeun! You're letting our project discontinue!"
Haeun fell silent, listening to his harsh words he was spitting into her face. She felt her eyes tearing up as her hands started shaking.
"I thought I did the right thing," She whined. "I didn't realize it could be THAT bad!"
"Well, yes, Haeun, it is that bad!" Sunghoon exclaimed. "You're making us lose our jobs! You're having so... UGH!" Sunghoon groaned, walking through the room anxiously.
She watched every step he took. He made lots of arm gestures, unsure what they meant.
It was despair. He was desperate.
Suddenly, Sunghoon turned around. His gaze was plain. She couldn't read his thoughts.
He walked up to her, almost stomping. Haeun took some steps back, but bumped into the wall.
Sunghoon stopped right in front of her, reached out his hands. She was scared that he might slap her, but instead, he gently placed his lips on hers.
Her eyes widened in shock as she felt his pink, soft lips pressing against hers. He cupped her cheeks with his hands and felt her hot, red cheeks burning on his palms.
Her heartbeat increased as he pulled himself closer towards her, but since she wasn't daring to kiss back, he backed off.
“Fuck,” Sunghoon cursed. "I shouldn't have done that... I'm sor-"
Before Sunghoon could finish his sentence, Haeun interrupted him by putting her index finger on his lips.
"I liked it," She said before removing her finger from his lips and standing on her toes, pressing her lips against his again.
The taste of her lip gloss was like cherry cola. Sunghoon felt his body starting to relax.
Their lips started to brush against each other, starting to make out. They felt the tension of the kiss in their stomachs.
They moved their bodies to the bed. She fell down on it, her back colliding with the soft sheets. He dove above her. The kiss didn't stop.
Have they made up for the argument now? Or have they just been making out?
