𝑴𝑨𝑹𝑨 walked into her dorm room, floating her luggage over with her powers. She noticed that one side of the room was already decorated. The walls were a bright red and the furniture was all in matching shades of gold, red, and a black and white checkered heart pattern.

She giggled, "Wow, my roommate really knows how to decorate."

Using her powers, Mara brought in her own furniture to design her side of the room. An antique black wooden dresser with gold accents, a vintage vanity dresser, an ornate golden full length mirror, and her golden bed frame with silk black sheets and pillows.

Just as Mara finished decorating, the door to her dorm opened. Two girls walked in; the first with long black hair and red highlights, and the second with short curly hair in an array of pastel colors.

"Oh!" The pastel-haired girl exclaimed, "I didn't think you were expecting visitors, Lizzie!"

"I wasn't." The other girl replied, "Who are you?"

"Oh, I guess I'm your roommate! My names Mara Sabbath." Mara said.

"It's just hat-tastic to meet you! I'm Maddie Hatter!" The pastel-haired girl giggled, shaking Mara's hand excitedly.

"And I'm Lizzie Hearts. it's nice to meet you, Mara." The other girl said.

"Who's your fairytale parent?" Maddie asked.

"Oh, my mom is the goddess Hecate." Mara replied.

"Wow! You must have some pretty cool powers, huh?" Maddie giggled.

Mara laughed, "Yeah, I guess so."

Lizzie grabbed a thick book from her desk, stopping near the door to the dorm. "Well, Maddie and I are going to the castleteria for lunch. Would you care to join us?"

"Yeah!" Mara smiled, "That sounds great."
