"Base line!" Coach V yelled. i groaned to myself as i walked to the base line. "bro we jus got here" i said to audriee. "i know bro im too-" before she could finish her sentence coach V spoke. "Girls do we wanna run suicides?" we shook our heads and she continued. "Down and back, no jogging no speed walking. Go!" Me and audriee and the rest of the team started to run. we came back slightly out of breath. "Okay to get you guys a little bit more warmed up, foul shots. One person at the line, rotate to the next." She said. she went and sat down and went on her phone. we all got in line and the ball bounced to Audriee. She dribbled before my teammate, Aubrey, yelled "brick" in a deep voice. To which audriee made it. "In your mouth nigga" audriee said as she did a dick sucking motion to aubrey. everyone laughed and aubrey acted shocked. "dude i'm a taylor swift baddie you cant call me the n word" aubrey replied. "yea taylor swift baddie definitely got it" audriee said as she shot her second free throw which bounced out the rim.
It was my turn so i got to the line and i got the ball. i did my free throw routine and took a deep breath. my teammate elle spoke up "girl you are not in a game" It made me lose my focus and i laughed along with her and everyone else. i turned around and threw it up and didn't expect to make it but i did. we were laughing and then my coach spoke up. "Yall are not locked in" she said as she laughed. i turned around and shot the second one seriously and made it. My teammate Callie got to the line and wiped her shoes. "Watch this" she said as she bounced the ball twice. she splashed the first one and when she was warming up the second one. she got in her form and stood on her tippy toes and splashed it. "Splash daddy oh yeaaaa" she said. we all laughed slightly and continued to do our free throws.
after about 15 minutes of free throws coach decided to do a scrimmage. Starters vs 2nd starters meaning the 5 6mans. I was of course the point guard which is originally my position. I got the ball and dribbled down the court. i did a split tween cross and pump faked and passed it to the small forward, Callie, who was in the corner wide open. she missed the 3 but our power forward, Mica caught it and put it back up. The opposite team dribbled down the court and Aubrey who was pg for that team, passed it to Nylah, the shooting guard. My teammate Callie picked off the past and by the time she did that i was down the court she passed it to me and i went in for an easy lay. my coach clapped "Good dime and finish" she said.
After practice i went back to the locker room. i took off my KDs and put them in my nike elite bag. i put my bubble slides on and hoodie before putting my bag on my shoulder and walking out with Callie and Audriee. We were kinda like a trio, we were all best friends and we did literally everything together. "Guysss we should go to the park tomorrow" callie said. I laughed. "Alright i'll see but we gotta stop for ice cream. After we walked out of the building my mom was there and took us home. It was a friday so we didn't have school and we were having a sleep over. "Do yall have your jerseys for tomorrow?" I asked as we drove to my house. tomorrow was game day in New York, which i didn't really mind since the flight from Houston to NYC wasn't that far and i grew up in NYC.
When we all got back to my house we showered and changed. Our pjs were matching which was cute so we took pics.

After i posted the pic we got bored and decided to go to my kitchen and eat snacks. i was on the island counter eating skittles gummies, callie was standing by the sink eating takis and audriee was playing with my dog, spark, while she ate grapes. "Yall know rwe has a game in New York right after us right?" audriee said my eyes widened slightly. "what?" i said. "ooo you get to see ya man jayce" callie said. "i'll slap those takis out your hand right now callie" i replied. Me and jayce were childhood best friends because we grew up in harlem together but i moved out in 2020 to new jersey and we kept up with each other but we hadn't seen each other in years. callie laughed and replied "not before jayce slaps that ass" I choked on my gummy and it flew out of my mouth and onto the floor. "Oh nah" i said as we all started laughing. "nah ion even like him and im not lying im not really into boys" i said. audriee and callie paused. "wait what-?" callie said. "nooo that sounded wrong i mean im not dating right now" i said. callie squinted her eyes and gave me a sarcastic nod and audriee laughed. "yall don't make me mad right now" i said. after a while we all went to bed.
