Mom picks me and Chloe up from school and we head straight to dance.
"I wonder who will be on top of the pyramid this week." I say
"Probably you or Maddie since you guys won." Chloe says.
"Probably Maddie."
"I hope it's you because you did absolutely amazing and Maddie has already been on top." Mom pipes in.
We get to the studio and we head inside studio A for chalkboard.
"Vivi-Anne, where's your dance clothes?" Abby asks her.
"It's in the car." Vivi says
"You need to be dressed and ready to dance when you walk in here, yes?" Abby says
"I wanna recap a little bit about the competition, there are some things that went on that maybe you don't even know about, your mom was upset about the costume, your mom was upset about the costume before you went onstage." Abby says pointing to me, Nia, and Chloe.
"But that cannot happen again, let's talk about what we're going to do this weekend, we're going to New Jersey and we are going to do an acrobatic gymnastics routine." Abby says
I'm not that good at acro so I'm kind of nervous.
Then Abby turns the chalkboard around

I smile as I'm on top of the pyramid and moms beaming.
"Overall I evaluated all of your performances so Claire you won in your age division and Maddie you won and got a title but everybody needs a shot on top and since Claire also won she is on top." Abby says
"Brooke I expect you to help the younger students and I expect you to know the choreography first and be able to help everybody out." Abby says to Brooke
"Nia and Paige have you'll be doing the tumbling part and the acro part." Abby says
"Vivi-Anne because you're new here and you don't know all of our terminology, I'm going to work privately with you this week and so you're going to do a solo at the competition this weekend." Abby says to vivi
"Alright girls let's go get up and get ready to rehearse, moms thank you very much." Abby says.
Group rehearsals
"Girls straighten those legs out!" Abby calls out
I don't like this routine since its acro and I'm not an Acro dancer.
Kelly then walks into studio A
"Abby, can we talk?" Kelly asks
Both of them leave studio A and we carry on with the routine.
I hope I do good this weekend.
Three days to competition
We get into the den and I notice the Hyland are nowhere to be found.
"Do you know where the Hyland are?" I whisper to Maddie.
"No clue" Maddie whispers back
"Do you know where Kelly is?" Holly asks mom
"No, maybe there is traffic." Mom says
We then head into group rehearsals

"Girls do any of you know where Paige ms Brooke are? Why are they late?" Abby asks
I shrug
"To fast Maddie" Abby says
