Everyone was celebrating and having fun in Antonio's new room, even Abuela was getting in on the dancing. But that's when Mirabel ran in.

"The house is in danger!" She exclaimed, making everyone stop to look at her. "The house is in danger. The tiles were falling and there were cracks everywhere and the candle almost went out!" She explained frantically.

The entire family looked at Mirabel, "You were not lying, And we didn't believe you.." Luisa said,

Abuela's eyes widened. "Show me." She stated at once.

But when Abuela and everyone else left the room to see what Mirabel was talking about...everything looked fine.

"how did that work, anyway" Camilo asked, confused, "why did they disappear,"

"T-The cracks were there...the house was in trouble, the candle was-" Mirabel rambled, feeling lost. Isabela scoffed, shaking her head. "Abuela, I promise-"

"I don't know" Mirabel said,

Abuela held up her hand. "That's enough." She snapped quietly before turning and smiling at the crowd. "There is nothing wrong with La Casa Madrigal. The magic is strong," Then, to lighten the mood, "And so are the drinks." That made the crowd laugh. "Please, music!"

Luisa brought over the piano and Agustin quickly began to play, getting the party going again.

"I knew something wasn't right... my daughter would never lye to ruin Antonios big night," Augustine mentioned,

As everyone went back to Antonio's room, Julieta looked at her daughter with concern.

"If it was all in my head, how did I cut my hand?" Mirabel snapped as she sat in the kitchen while Julieta made her a quick snack. "I would never ruin Antonio's night! Is that really what you think?"

"see I just said that she would nev-"

"shh," abuela snapped.

Julieta checked on the fresh arepa's. "What I think is that today was very hard for you."

"That's-" Mirabel let out a frustrated breath. "I was looking out for the family. And I might not be super strong like Luisa or effortlessly perfect like Senorita Perfecta Isabela who's never even had a bad hair day," She ranted. "But..." Mirabel realized how she sounded and let out a sigh of defeat. "Whatever."

Julieta handed her an arepa. "I wish you could see yourself the way I do. You are perfect, just like this. You are just as special as anyone else in this family."

"Um well," Camilo started, until he saw, Pepa's ice glare. then he stopped himself.

Mirabel glanced at her hand, which was healed after one bite. "You just healed my hand with an arepa con queso."

"I healed my hand with my love for my daughter." Julieta teased. Mirabel rolled her eyes in embarrassment. "With her wonderful brain and big heart, cool glasses-"

"Mama." Mirabel complained. Julieta kissed her cheek.

Then she huffed. "I know what I saw."

Jullieta whispered to Mirabel

Julieta hesitated. "Mira, my brother Bruno lost his way in this family. I don't want the same for you."

"Get some sleep, you'll feel better tomorrow."

But as Mirabel lied in her bed, she couldn't help thinking back to what she saw.

Just to be sure, Mirabel got up to check on the candle, sneaking onto the roof and heading for Abuela's open window.

But when she heard footsteps, she quickly hid against the wall as Abuela stared down at the Miracle.

Abuela opened a locket and looked at the picture of Pedro longingly. "Oh, Pedro...I need you." She whispered.

"Cracks, in our Casita." She sighed. "If only our family knew how vulnerable we really are. Our Miracle is dying."

"You knew," Pepa started, "and you still made Mirabel look like a fool!" She said now shouting.

"Like you do to everyone, were you scold them for not using there gifts perfectly... except for Mirabel Its because she doesn't have a gift,"

Tears filled her eyes. "We cannot lose our home again. Why is this happening? Open my eyes. If the answer is here, help me find it. Help me protect our family." She pleaded. "Help me save our Miracle."

"Pepa I-" Abuela started,

"No," Pepa snapped without hesitation.

Abuela looked down.

When Abuela walked away after pressing a kiss to her locket, Mirabel faced the candle, growing determined.

"I will save the Miracle." She decided in a whisper.

"How are you gonna do that," Camilo laughed, "Are you going to get in a fight with abuela and leave a huge crack in the house and village?"

"Shut up," mirabel said, twisting her head back at him.

Quickly, Mirabel went back to her room and got dressed before preparing to head out the door.

And then she paused. "Wait. How do I save a Miracle?"

Casita gave a shrug.

"I...will figure out what's happening to the Miracle."

"Nooo you-" WACK Felix wacked him on the head, again.

Casita opened and closed the window.

"Oh, I have no idea. But, there is one person in this family who hears everything about everything." Mirabel looked at the family photo in her room, focusing on Dolores. "So if anyone would know what's wrong with the magic, it's her."

"oh no," Deloris peeped.
