➛ ❝ YOU ALL HAVE YOUR COSTUMES, RIGHT? ❞
a few days have passed and now everyone from the class 1a were standing inside the train station, bags on their back and their suitcases on their hands. aizawa was giving them their last instructions before leaving the platform."try not to be a burden to the hero during our internship. now go." and with that, everyone scattered to go to their respective trains. [y/n]'s train didn't come until later, so she decided to sit on the benches, putting her suitcase on her lap. she then thought back to her conversation with aizawa a few days ago, remembering the purpose of this internship.
'interning while hunting that killer down. what a hassle. . . heroes really are inefficient.' she let out a sigh at the thought, her eyes wandering around the station. she failed to notice one of her classmates walking up to her direction, who gave her a light tap on her shoulder.
"rai-san." a male voice made her turn to the source, only to see her half-hot half-cold classmate standing on her side. "todoroki-san, do you need anything?" the male shook his head and instead gave her what seems to be a drink. the girl raised her brow at this. the two had never even talked to each other, and the times that they did was usually the male declaring war on her, so seeing him do this was new to her.
"are you alright?" the girl asked, hesitant to take the drink. suddenly, he slightly bowed at her, making her widen her eyes in shock, his action catching her off-guard. "i would like to apologize for my behavior during our time as classmates." well this was awkward. seeing todoroki act like this made [y/n] believe that something was wrong with him.
patting on the seat beside her, she beckoned the male to sit, complying on her request. the two of them sat in silence, with [y/n] trying to figure out what to say and todoroki looking at the distance.
"why are you apologizing." she said, making the male look at her with a sigh. "i've realized that my actions towards you were uncalled for, especially since we barely even knew each other." he was formal, [y/n] would give him that. she listened carefully to what he had to say, not saying a word through his explanation.
"i've been blinded by my hatred towards my father for far too long. his goals eventually making its way through me." he said, clenching his fists. his father's goal was to become the number one pro-hero, to which the boy made it his goal as well, merely because his father had engraved it to his brain.
"and with that, i apologize." his apology was sincere, to which [y/n] sighed at. "what're you even apologizing for? you've done nothing wrong." that made the boy quiet. she was right, he'd done nothing wrong. but what made him walk up to her and start apologizing out of nowhere? that must've caught her off-guard.
