The school day had barely begun when the wild rumors about Y/n started circulating. By lunchtime, the cafeteria buzzed with speculation and gossip. Gopal plopped down at the table where the rest of the heroes were gathered, an excited gleam in his eyes as he leaned in conspiratorially.
"Dey, I got tea," he began, his voice low but urgent. "There's already lots of crazy rumors about the new girl in our class, but there are three big ones that keep coming up. They say Y/n beat someone up, washed away their blood, and even has powers to command crows. Do you think she's working with Adu Du or something? Or like actually in a gang? Maybe she's secretly a villain?"
Yaya sighed, shaking her head in disapproval. "Gopal, that's rude. She just joined, and already there are all these outlandish rumors. I feel bad for her as this is her first day."
Gopal pouted, his chocolate bar temporarily forgotten. "Aish! Come on, there are even witnesses. There must be some truth to it."
"Yah! These rumors seem way out of hand," Ying chimed in, adjusting her glasses. "I'm sure there's some sort of misunderstanding."
Fang turned to Ais. "What do you think, Ais? You're the only one who's interacted with her so far."
Ais looked up from his lunch, chewing thoughtfully before swallowing. "Doesn't seem like her," he said slowly. "And Y/n controlling crows sounds like something out of a fairytale."
Duri huffed in agreement. "I agree with Ying. My gut tells me she's kind, beneath the cold exterior. At least to me. I wanna be friends with Y/n, but she disappears right after class every time." The green eyed brunette pouts, poking at his food with his spoon.
Gempa, who had been listening quietly, nodded. "First impressions can be misleading. She might look intense, but that doesn't mean she's dangerous."
As they continued their discussion, Y/n walked into the cafeteria, feeling the weight of numerous eyes on her. The room fell silent as her cold gaze seemed to command attention, her (e/c) eyes scanning the sea of faces. The intensity of their gazes made her uncomfortable, amplifying her already tense demeanor. Quick as she entered, she immediately walked back out with a scary expression that looked like annoyance to most, but Duri sensed something different. To him, it was fear but what made Y/n scared in the first place?
