Time flew by faster than Y/n expected as a few days had passed by since Ais had first brought the cocoa powder from Tok Aba's café to Y/n. The gesture, simple yet thoughtful, had touched her deeply. As a thank you, she had baked a delicious chocolate marble cheesecake, each swirl of chocolate and vanilla a testament to her gratitude. Handing it to Ais was rather easy, as he often crash by her place after school for the baked treats. So when the boy handed Tok Aba the cake, the older man anticipated an endless exchange of gifts if he sent something back. Hence, he suggested that Ais invite Y/n to his Kokotiam for some free drinks on the house. Luckily, the ice hero has the goth girl's phone number and texted her. Not needing to become a medieval messenger.

The invitation didn't sit well with Y/n. She rarely stepped outside her house, the idea of social interactions filled her with dread. All she could do was nod her head, agreeing outwardly while internally crying and hoping they'd forget about her or, by some miracle, cancel the invitation.

"Why did I agree?" Y/n muttered to herself, pacing back and forth in her room. Her heart pounded at the mere thought of being around people. She imagined all the eyes on her, judging, and felt her hands grow clammy. "It's just an outside café," she tried to reassure herself. "But... what if I mess up? What if I say something stupid or rude?" Her thoughts spiraled, her anxiety wrapping around her like a tight, suffocating blanket.

"Then Ais won't be my friend anymore and I'll just jump the cliff- No. Dad will scold me. Maybe switch to online school this time and have a new identity ahahahah- Or I can just pretend to forget. Yeah that sounds good but if they drag me the next day........I'll just purposely get sick."

Hades, the onyx bird perched on her desk, watched her with a blank look almost judgmental, his beady eyes following her every move.
