TW- RAPE
I hear the door crack open. I look to my nightstand and glance at the clock. 12:03 A.m. huh? "Aiden..?" I call out in a sleepy tone. I cling to my pink blanket as the boy the walks in isn't my big brother.

"Shh, you'll wake everyone up," says the voice. I sit up, shaking slightly to see Declan Cunningham. Declan has been Aiden's bestest friend since I can remember. Declan was always nice to me. But for some reason, tonight felt different.

"What are you doing dec?" I rub my eyes to get a better view, as he slowly closes the door and locks it. I felt my heart drop in my chest.

"D-dec?" I called out. This feels off...I can't tell why. Declan comes up to me in his Spider-Man pajamas and grins.

"You aren't supposed to be in here. You're supposed to be in Aiden's room," I add, voice trembling. Everything about this moment feels weird. My brother Aiden says that if something ever feels weird then I should trust myself.

"Shh," Declan began. "Everything's okay." He smiled brightly at me. "You trust me right?" Declan asked in an unsure tone. Of course I trusted him. "I'm like your second big brother remember?" Declan adds. I nod slowly.

"This is gonna seem weird okay? I promise you it's not. It's a fun game." Declan smiles. I give him a confused look. He reaches for my pajama shorts and I grab his hand. "Hey! What're you doing?" I shout, voice panicked.

"Gosh, don't make this harder than it has to be hm?" Declan tilts his head. My heart races and so does my breath. Aiden says it's not okay for others to touch you there. Especially if you don't allow them too. Before I can protest, Declan pins be down and covers my mouth and nose so I can't breath. I try to kick and push, but he's too strong. He's a whole three years older than me. That's big.

He rips down my pajama shorts and knickers, in one swift move. I begin to scream, but it's all muffled by his hand on my mouth. Next is his. Then he does something to me. It's scary.

In and out. It hurt. Bad. I began to cry as he wouldn't stop. "STOP DECLAN!" My screams were muffled by the scary sounds he was making. 'Aiden..' I thought to myself. 'Aiden is supposed to protect me from his friend'.

When it was all over I was frozen. Declan fixed himself and went back to Aiden's room as if nothing happened, and I lost a part of myself.

I wake up in a sweat, breathing hard. I look at the time. 3:37 A.M. I groan before flopping back down onto my back, taking deep breaths. I've had the same nightmare for years since it happened. Declan Cunningham ruined me. He changed me. Not for the better.

I get up out of bed and sneak into the kitchen. I get a glass of water and chug it. I let out a breath and shake my head.
I'm exhausted. Today's my first day at school and I couldn't even get a good nights sleep. I'm not even surprised, what did I think was going to happen? I'd feed into Aiden's delusions? I'd go to school and all of As sudden be happy? As if the past sixteen years of my life didn't happen? I live my brother but he will never understand what happened to me that night.

He will never understand the pain of knowing what was ripped from me that night. He will never understand that our own father blamed me. Blamed me for being too 'cute'. I swallow the acid taste in my throat as I think of it all. It disgusted me.

I rub my eyes before going back into my room. I toss in turn in bed for hours before it was finally time for me to get up and face the world. I get ready and put on my new tommen uniform. I put on a bit of mascara and some lipgloss, so I don't look like a total rag doll.

I admire myself in the mirror for a moment before finally going into the kitchen. "Morning," Aiden says with a yawn in nothing but sweatpants. "Hungry?" Aiden asks, grabbing some cereal from the cupboards.

I nod and sit at the table as he pours me some cereal. He makes his way to the fridge and gets milk, pouring it into my bowl.

I grab my spoon and begin to eat. "Thanks," I say stuffing my face. Aiden snickers before staring at me for a long moment. My cheeks redden. Is there something wrong? My hair? The uniform? My face?

"What?" I stare into my bowl of cereal. "Nothing you just," Aiden stops for a moment. "You look really nice Fidah."

After breakfast Aiden insists on driving me to school. As we arrive I sit in the car for a moment contemplating stepping out. "You do realize how to use a car door?" Aiden asks with a hint of sarcasm and amusement in his tone.

I turn to him and scowl. "Are you going to get out or-," "I will, yeah?" I interrupt with a sharp tone.

"Look fid," Aiden begins. Although I don't bother hearing the rest. My sights are too focused on a blonde boy who gets out of the car next to mine. He walks out with  a brunette and two other blondes. One of the blondes, seem younger, and look just like this blonde I'm looking at. I don't know what it is about him but, he's caught my attention.

"Yeah, yeah ," I say as I get out of the car, and slam the door shut. I walk off then take in the sight of the school. Wow. I look around for that particular blonde boy but he's gone. A girl catches me staring in the direction he went and comes up to me. "I've never seen you around here before," the brunette girl says with a smile.

"Uh, yeah I'm new," I give her a small shrug. Her eyes widen and her smile brightens. "You're a dub." She states. "I'm Abigail. Your new best friend and your guide." She grins. I tilt my head to get a better look at her, this girl is gorgeous. "Okay then, lead the way." She shows me around to every class room and introduces me to my teachers.

Abigail and I are walking around when suddenly another brunette girl runs up sweating. "my bastard of a brother left me at home to pick up the evil lynch spawn!" She shouts to Abigail. Abigail rolls her eyes with a giggle. "Not In front of the new girl hm?" Abigail gestures towards me and I lift a shoulder.

The brunette girl looks me up and down and speaks breathlessly from her running. "Shit you're pretty," I blush slightly. "Ah, thanks," she grins. "I'm Cecelia, and you are?"

I push my hair behind my ear. "Fidah."
Abigail smiles. "Isn't that like wilderness-," Cecelia interrupts. "First of all I think it means deer, and second. You're a dub?" I giggle slightly at the two of them.

"It can mean them both, plus respect. Yes I'm a dub." My hold on my bag tightens slightly.

Cecelia rips my bag away from me and rummages through it. I watch with amusement as Abigail protests. "Hey! No!" Abigail tries to rip my bag from Cecelia, but Cecelia has already gotten her hands on what she needed.

"Okay sick, you're in most of our classes," as if on cue, the bell rings.

As the first few classes pass I settle into the class I don't have with Abigail or Cecelia. They were both so welcoming and I loved it. I eventually realize I left my calculator in my locker so I ask to get it. As I'm walking in the hallway, I'm not paying much attention to where I'm walking until I run into someone. I swear I felt my brain shake a little.
