An unknown goddess has prepared a large room with a lot of sofas and a giant screen in front.
"Everything is perfect. I can bring them over now. Can't wait to meet them." She was really looking forward to bringing them all. She often watched their exploits in the divine realm, but after viewing their future, she was a little worried about what might happen.
—
Soon after, a flash of lightning appeared in the room with many people in the center.
On the side of the people who appeared.
Almost no one showed any expression of panic or surprise, they were all quite used to the unusual things happening around the redhead.
"Human, where are you?"
"I'm here, Raon." A redhead appeared with two cat children in her arms and the dragon flew quickly towards him.
Choi Han, Alberu, Rosalyn, and the two Molans were next to him. All of them looked at him with some degree of accusation.
"Cale, do you know where we are?"
"Why do you ask me?" Cale frowned at Alberu's question.
"Because usually when something happens, it's your fault ..."
Cale was about to dismiss this accusation, but everyone on his side quickly showed agreement.
Cale ignored them.
"Alright, now, let's see who is here. Miss Rosalyn, can you do it please?"
"Of course." Rosalyn quickly summoned her mana.
"I notice the presence of all the members of our family only, all the Dragon-nim, your duchy family, Cage, Taylor ..."
As she continued, an uninvited guest approached them.
"Hello, my son! It's been so long since I last saw you!" Yes, it is now King Fredo who has appeared.
"Son?" Duke Deruth approached his son when he heard the words of this stranger. Cale had told him something, but didn't fully explain what had happened.
Cale could already feel a headache coming from the many problems standing around him.
"Sigh. Okay, I'm sure it's the bastard's fault." He ignored the vampire's presence and focused on Rosalyn's words.
Why just this family? The image of a certain madman came to his mind. He really hoped he wasn't there after all. He didn't even consider the old vampire a friend let alone family, but it seemed God was still so annoying. He was very suspicious now.
As Cale spoke, everyone moved closer to the redhead, mainly to protect him, like Choi Han and the Molans. Everyone knew that the redhead could be unpredictable after all. The dragons had already circled the room to find a way to escape.
Eruhaben came to report his findings to Cale.
"Eruhaben-nim, do you think this could be the work of a god?"
"I am not sure–"
The dragon's words were cut off by the appearance of a person.
"Hello everyone, I have gathered you here."
"... What is your purpose?" asked the redhead quickly. The others weren't surprised that he was casually talking to a person who could literally be a god after all he had just sealed one.
"We will show you a video about your future potential. There are many possible paths to your future and I want to show you one of them. You may also be able to change it for the better or ignore it, if it doesn't happen then."
"We won't be able to know." Cale looked doubtful at that.
"Of course no one knows, not even the gods. That's why you're here, I swear I want nothing more than to help you, I promise." She seemed really sincere when saying it. After all she was.
After the question of why they are there, there are still other questions that must be answered.
"Excuse me, what is happening to our world?" Alberu asked.
"Time is stopping until you come back, don't worry."
As soon as he heard this, Alberu quickly sat down on a sofa. He will finally be able to rest a little from all this paperwork he still has to do. A real vacation!
"Do you have any other questions? The point is, I actually didn't hurt you at all. You can even rest here."
Everyone's attention was focused on the redhead who was also sitting with the children next to Alberu. "We can't go out and we're not in danger a priori, so we might as well take advantage of it to rest like she said."
Choi Han sat down next to him. Ron, Beacrox, Rosalyn, and the Dragons all gathered around him.
Everyone then quickly took their seats.
"Well, now that everyone is settled. You can order as much food and drinks as you want with your mind. Think of something and it will appear in front of you. Then you can ask me whatever you want. Of course, no violence."
"Excuse me ma'am, can I ask what you are?"
"Eruhaben, are you curious?" She had a mischievous smile on her face.
"Yes ..." His dragon curiosity itched, he really wanted to know.
"Sure. I'm actually a god, but I have nothing to do with that idiot's death. I won't tell you what I rule over."
Cage and Cale looked at him as if they had found their soulmate.
'Finally, a decent god.' Cale's thoughts obviously don't last long.
"More questions? No? Well, let's get started."
The black screen flashed to Cale sitting on a rocking chair in his backyard.
It's a normal day in the life of a lazy man.
Since the end of the war barely a month ago, his Hyung had seized power and become emperor, giving him the idle life he had always dreamed of. On top of that, the White Star and reconstruction issues had been completely resolved, so everything was peaceful.
And Cale was finally able to rest properly, even though his family had become more protective of him since the famous stabbing incident. Of course, he understood them and didn't blame them; they always gave him enough freedom or privacy not to complain.
Anyway, he was sitting peacefully in his garden of the Super Rock Villa across from his field. The kittens were with him while Raon and Choi Han took care of the field themselves. After all, they had forced Cale to rest after only an hour of work under the supervision of the kittens.
Doing nothing is the best thing to do. He continued to bask in the sun on his chair, even becoming sleepy as everything was so calm.
Everyone wanted to congratulate Alberu on his title as emperor, but the words were lost after "this incident" was cited, they would have hoped to never hear about it again.
Alberu decided to distract himself by bothering Cale.
"Dongsaeng, looks like you finally got to have your lazy life." Even though to everyone Alberu's words seemed like he was making fun of Cale, the redhead didn't realize it. He was too focused on the screen that finally showed his life's dream. Everyone sighed at the spectacle, calming the atmosphere in the room.
But our beloved Cale couldn't enjoy it for long, as always.
The words raised everyone's eyebrows when they heard an "unlucky bastard" coming from a certain dragon, and a cold feeling ran through everyone, especially Cale.
But something else caught his attention. 'Beloved? Really?'
