Eruhaben didn't let him finish. He was furious. "Are you kidding me? Do you want to die?"

Everyone agreed with the dragon. They were looking forward to this happening. Even though the Goddess was right about the need for this, they still couldn't accept it and let the world tree get away with it. Maybe they could burn a few branches to calm a bit.

The dust around the Dragon became more violent. It had already reduced a dozen branches of the tree to dust.

Several applause and cheers followed the scene.

"It won't hurt him! He won't feel anything and I don't know any other way. Whatever is affecting him has become stronger by mixing with my energy. The only way is to counter it with a dose of my stronger energy!!"

"It's the only way obviously, poor unlucky bastard." The Dragon sighed. He was really starting to get anxious. He really doesn't want to see this and certainly not do it himself. Cale's entire family was of course okay with that.

"Any side effects?"

"Just heal him, I promise! Nothing else."

"It better be the truth. Especially with what he's already asking!" Many thought.

"Fine, give it to me, but we'll find something else before then. If we ever have to use it and something else happens, I swear I'll burn every last branch of yours!"

They were a little relieved to learn that the tree branch might not be necessary.

Deruth could finally see his heart calm down even though he thought it might get worse again.

Most of the people in the room all sighed in relief, much to Cale's confusion.

"Yes, I'm not lying!"

"You better be!"

The World Tree quickly gave one of its branches where it infused a little of its vital force without doing it too much, otherwise it would risk becoming immortal.

This time it was Cale who was shaking. He didn't want to become immortal, that would be a curse. He would still rather die sick. Just the thought that he had to witness the death of his entire family made his stoic expression flicker and made him shiver.

"Human?" Raon, who was still on him, looked at him worriedly.

"It's nothing. Everything's fine." Cale stroked the little dragon with his hand, even though it was trembling.

Of course, the dragon noticed him, Choi Han and Alberu next to him too. The swordsman reacted first, he placed one of his hands on Cale's arm to show his support. He was the only one who really understood these words and what frightened him.

Others noticed the interaction, but only Eruhaben found it a bit suspicious.

The Ancient Dragon left with the branch in his space bag towards Cale's room.

The World Tree was able to breathe after his departure. "It was terrifying."

The dragon was quite proud of his actions.

When the Golden Dragon arrived, he once again encountered a catastrophic situation. Now in addition to the doctor, there was also Duke Deruth for some unknown reason.

Deruth thought about why he was there, it didn't bode well.

He approached Ron to ask for explanations. "The Young Master continued to lose blood, so the doctors tried to find a something quickly."
