I noticed my boy best friend Chael approaching towards me. I'm here usually in my favorite part of our campus finishing some schoolwork since it's early pa naman to go home. It's just 2 pm, buti nalang talaga at may important appointment ang sub teacher namin sa Genbio kaya he didn't make it kanina.
We're at the backside of our classroom kung saan maraming mga klase ng mga bulaklak na magandang pagmasdan that gives me solace. Malimit lang itong puntahan ng mga students. I don't know why, despite its serene surrounding no. A perfect spot for those who wants to have a peaceful state. I find this place my comfort.
Kinukulit ako ni Chael,nah asaran, at nagkukwentohan kame hanggang sa naging sa seryoso kind of thing ang aming pinag uusapan. like deep talk ganun.
"You know what Az, why don't you take a chance with me?"
"Huh? what do u mean, Chael?", nagtataka kong tanong sa kanya. Maybahid ng pag alinlangan ang kanyang expression habang nakaharap sakin but I can sense the sincereness in his voice and those beautiful eyes.
I have known Chael and befriends with him since we were just in middle school. He's my partner in crime sa mga kalokohan at sa mga gimik ko in life. He's for me a jewel I don't wanna lose.
I fakely cough and let out an awkward laugh.
"Stop fooling around Chael". Baka mafall ako lalo sayu nyan, sabi ko sa sariling isip.
I can't seem to agree with his nabuong idea kase everything's messy pa for me. I need to have a clear mind muna before I go into a relationship. And in our situation right now, parang bad timing pa. ewan anong pumasok sa kukute ng lalaking to. Siguro deds na deds tu sakin haha. Medj feeling rin si me huh. (Hanginon pd ning bayhana)
"You know what, Chael... it's not that I don't want to but what if it will just worsen the situation...? "
(Or maybe I'm just not ready to commit or I'm just playing hard to get or not interested at all.)
Napaisip siya sa kawalan and stared at me.
" It's fine Az, I'll wait for you." Tapos may pangisingisi pa ang kumag haha. He caught me off guard with that answer. Pero what if I can't wait to make it happen? (me is so confusing). Ano ba talaga Az.
"Bantay ka saking kumag ka pag may nabalitaan akong may gf kana ha?" parang sasabog ang mukha niya, sinusubukang pigilan ang pagtawa dahil sa expressiong sinabi ko.
"Pero ikaw bahala, hindi naman sa pinipilt kita na hintayin ako, baka ako pa sisihin mo tumanda kang binata."
