“Nara…Nara…NARA!” shouted one of the hunters.

“I’M AWAWE, I’M AWAKE!” The other girl screamed making a jump scare waking up and taking off some leaves from herself from the bush she was hidding behind of in the shadow of the castle of Westsover Hall.

When she could finally focus her sight she Saw the cooper-skinned girl in front of her with a disapproving look.

“This is unbelieveable” the girl, Zoë, called her out with an indignant expression. “Were thee asleep?”

“No…” she tried to lie “Well, meaby a little” she said with an apolagetic look “Sorry, you know I haven’t been sleeping well with the nightmares and all” Nara continued as she took off some little branches from her bronze hair and her silver parka.

The hunters were guarding the zone in search of a beast that Artemis comanded them to haunt before It could get hold of any demigod. It was Nara’s round but she had passed out a moment ago.

“I understand, but don't let it hapen ever again, understood?” Said Zöe “Anyway, how is it going?”

“Bah, they are still in there and there is no sign of any monster round here so, It’s fine”.

As she said that all hades broke lose.

They saw as a suspicious group of four people were leaving the castle, from the smell and how they were leaving she guessed that they should be three demigod and the other one a monster.

“Hmm, should we interfer?” Nara asked.

“Wait till we know what we are fighting against” Zoë said.

Nara didn't know what kind of monster It was, but he was fast.  

"What are you doing, Jackson?" the beast hissed "Keep moving!" 

"It's my shoulder," The older boy moaned "It burns." 

"Bah! My poison causes pain. It will not kill you. Walk!" 

They were going into the woods and the girls keep following them without being noticed. They took a snowy path dimly lit by old-fashioned lamplights. Percy's shoulder ached. The wind blowing through his ripped clothes was so cold that he felt like a Percysicle. 

"There is a clearing ahead," Thorn said. "We will summon your ride." 

"What ride?" The girl demanded. "Where are you taking us?"
