Chapter two: "Rumor has it he's the one I'm leaving you for."

Wake Up! WAKE UP!

It was three in the morning when Nara heard that and opened her eyes, finding her brother Lee looking down at her.

“Lee? What's going on?” She asked trying not to fall asleep again watching as some of her siblings were picking their weapons and armors

“Well, you see” he explained alarmed “we have a situation here. A drakon, to be exactly”.

“Wait what?”

“I’ll explain latter, now get up and come with me!”

He didn't need to say more. She quickly got up from bed and put her armor on, well. She put it on as well as she could half asleep and picked her bow Next to her bed and quickly ran after her siblings to the camp borders into the woods.

Her jaw dropped. A thirty feet long serpent with bright green scales.

“We’ve got to get it as far away from the borders as possible.” Lee was commanding as Nara reached them.

“But how?” Her sister Katie asked

“Charge at It.” He explained. “Austin and Nara go from the left; Katie and Michael, form the right, and me and Gracie from the front… NOW” He exclaimed just before the drakon throwed fire at them from its mouth.

They diverted and started to throw arrows at it while trying not to get bitten or hit by its acid between the trees.

Nara tried to throw her arrows but she hadn't pick them. When she went to pick her things half asleep, instead of her bow and arrows, she had picked her guitar.

This can't really be happening! Not now!

Before she could do anything she heard one of her sister yell: “Nara, get down!” and she quickly rolled just before acid fell right where she was before leaving a burning mark on the grass on the ground.

“How are we supposed to charge if It keeps throwing that thing at us?!” Michael exclaimed.

Nara explored her surroundings and reminded last December and had an idea, a crazy one.

“I’ll manager the fire, you keep throwing arrows at it.” She told them.

They all turned to Lee.

“Well, you've heard her…GO!”

Nara didn't waste a second, handed her guitar on her back and climbed the closest tree as fast as she could.

Once she got a bit higher than the snake she crawled throw a thick branch and screamed at the monster to catch its attention “Hey, you!” the monster stopped to look up at her as she got up and picked her guitar. “Hope you enjoy acoustic sessions.” And threw her guitar to its mouth.

As the drakon opened its mouth and eat It Lee screamed Now! and all of them charged at the same time making the Monster throw a big howl and finally withdraw, disappearing into the forest.

The next morning there was a lot of excitement at breakfast, but not for the right reason.

Nara was playing with the food on her plate trying not to fall asleep right there. She had had a rough night.
