Naturally, there were too many people present—this is a reunion—you are stupid, Lee Heeseung. Yes, we are in a café, but I had anticipated that we would head to a bar or something loud instead. But to my surprise, we headed here.

I wasn't intending on attending this gathering since, to be honest, it's just Jay and Ni_ki, whom I've become close to during the years of law school—and yes, the same café where that stranger entered earlier.

Jumping in conversations, I couldn't eat a thing because of what happened earlier.

"Attorney Lee, start eating! Attorney Nishimura might eat yours. Look at him."

they bursted out laughing when Ni_Ki glared at them. I was surprised they acknowledged my presence. However, they obviously know me well because my family was a murderous one. As anticipated, I anticipated criticism for being their kid, but instead, I'm getting compliments for my own being and finally not because of them.

"Ya, stop spacing out and start eating" jay came close to me and whispered. maybe i should inform him what was on my mind.

"jay this cafè, this is where that stranger went into earlier" naturally jay got goosebumps again after hearing "that stranger" again for like a million times today, and still he's terrified.

"hee stop talking about that stranger please, do you want me to die because of a heart attack?" hee couldn't care less of what jay was saying, he's stare was just fixed at the managers room of the cafè. He was hoping that stranger is part of this cafè or something.

Laughter was all over the room as everyone else exchanged jokes and conversations. As for Hee? he was quiet as a tree. It's like he's just co-existing with them.

"Attorney Lee!" someone called him that made him look. It was his classmate, Moon Jun, He thought of this person as an angel like being because of his feature and personality.

"You are so quiet, We should be having fun because we got to gather again after years!"
he said and everyone cheered and agreed. i also agreed but with mysteries still lingering in my mind, i actually don't know if i could function properly.

i smiled at them, "I agree with you Attorney Moon, I'm sorry" they cheered again when i raised my glass of liquor in the air.

"You know Attorney Lee, I heard you were single—"  my gaze soften, remembering again that stranger. the word single isn't right at all for me. me and jake never broke up.

"—i have a sister who has a crush on you, she's cute, smart and sexy since she's a model too. She keeps pestering me about asking you for a date for her" he smiled ending that, everyone started teasing me. i smiled, just for the show. i wasn't really happy about it.

"could you extend my gratitude to her for liking someone like me, unfortunately i'm not interested. i'm sorry and i hope she respect that" i smiled. his expression changed as he suddenly giggle.

"no wonder my sister likes you, you are indeed soft spoken and a good man. I'll surely send her your message Attorner Lee" he smiled again before raising his glass in the air. "cheers!" they all said celebrately. I also did and drunk the whole glass in one shot.

no one could ever replace you jakey. sigh

woof! woof!

a stray dog at this hour in a cafè? i thought cafè's nowadays won't let stay dogs to enter cafè's, although it's cruel. I totally get the owner, maybe costumers may feel uncomfortable if they see a stay dog in front of them, wanting food too.

woof!

"o my god look at that golden dog guys, it's so fluffy and big" Ni_ki excitedly said to jay and me about the dog. Golden? Big and fluffly? there's no fricking way that's a stray dog.

i looked up and widened my eyes. it's the same dog that stranger was holding earlier, but where is he?

"jay that's his dog" i informed jay, grabbing his shoulders down to let me whisper in his ear.

"huh?" he was puzzled while looking at the dog in front of the counter as he was being tied, someone was holding his leash. please be him.

the dog walk excitedly, making it's way to the exit. revealing it's owner, guiding her and it was him. i look over to my side to find jay and ni_ki with wide eyes.

"W-w-what? t-that's..." Ni_ki couldn't get his words out of his mouth. I look at Jay and he was pale as his white shirt.

"now tell me, that's not the same person" i said at jay as he's still processing what he saw. he also couldn't believe it.

"WHAT THE FUCK DID I MISSED?" Ni_ki was yelling but in a whispering way. He was freaking out.

"and that's why you both need to help me find out if that man was really jake or is just a total stranger who happens to be a like to jake" i smiled at them before patting their backs, looking back to the man outside the cafès glass window.

i knew there will be an invisible string attached to us my love.
