Chapter 2

"Let's go sightseeing. It's been a while since I explored the wonders of nature. Come with me guys." Outspoken Key abruptly shares his view, while munching on a juicy peach. Each bite ending in a drizzle of peach juice running down the corner of his mouth which he keeps attempting to wipe off with his hand. Minho notices a poster lying beside the cupboard next to his bed. His keen eyes drift through the bold writing and widen in anticipation. " You go ahead with the others Kim Kibum. I'm going to a late night beach party, I've always wanted to go. This poster says there will be music and dancing, it is right up my street. Oh! It says I need a partner to enter, sooo who is willing to join me?" He scans the room hoping for a volunteer. Onew cowers his head. Vicky avoids eye contact. Taemin smiles at Jonghyun mouthing the words "Please you go instead" and Jonghyun shakes his head firmly. Key responds to Minho's gaze, "I'm exploring today." Faye glances at Dru who is desperate to say yes, she is crossing her fingers thinking "Pick me! Pick me! Pick me!" Just as Dru is about to speak Faye is sharp with her timing. "I don't mind going..." Faye shoots a sly smirk at Dru enjoying the torture she can read on Dru's face. "How about you Dru do you want to come along?" Dru nods her head at Minho's question in her sarcastic tone aimed at Faye. "It is actually my birthday today so I think I should have the privilege to join you, don't you think Faye? You would never decline such a request from your unni would you? Since your a very nice respectful girl." Faye approves, she wasn't actually planning on joining Minho, she just loves the reaction from Dru when anyone tries to set their eyes on her beloved Minho, her ultimate bias in Shinee. Minho and Dru leave first leaving the others to go wander in the surrounding woods where the hideout resides. As the people leave Tiana and Mara relocate their position creeping up behind a nearby tree in which they could not be seen.

Dru could not take her eyes of Minho, secretly catching a glimpse whenever she could. His perfectly sculpted body was a lady magnet that she could not deny. His adventurous stroll was captivating. "So Dru is the name right? Hmm I was wondering which Shinee member you like best? Just be honest. I am really curious." Dru pretends to think hard teasingly "Well Key is so fashionable. Jonghyun's voice is amazing. Onew is so funny. Taemin is such a flower boy. And for you..let me think I don't know." Minho tries to hide his agitation while Dru jokingly pats his shoulder "And you are the best in Shinee. Of course you are number one! My dream team champion." Minho seems flattered to say the least, his face fills with embarrassment at Dru's over admiration for him. As they reach the party the music fills their ears becoming louder with each step closer. There are mini lantern lights hanging from the wooden roof covering the edges like a border. The place is huge and exotic filled with colourful lighting inside. The place is open and airy and some would say claustrophobic with many party people dancing to the beat. "Let's dance!" Minho grabs Dru's arm leading her to the dance floor, they both frantically become aloof with the music. After a couple of hours of hearty endorphins running wild, Dru starts to feel her dry throat. "I'll be at the cocktail bar. Just a tad bit thirsty. Be right back! " She leans in close to his ear so her voice can overpower the loud music.

"Excuse me please could I have a glass of water?" Beside her a lanky guy is staring from the corner of his eyes, they are fixed on Dru, he slowly approaches her with a lustful grin on his face. His large hands slide under her arms and he pulls himself closer to her. "Vashgu is the name my lady. Come here baby let's have a good time. Me and you tonight can have the time of our lives,,.what say girl? Care to join me?" His eyes bulge as he scans her figure, he winks at her and licks his lips in delight. An uncomfortable looking Dru escapes his hands and glares at him in anger and disbelief. "I erm need to go. I'm here with someone else. Please let go off me!" The pervert man puts Dru in her clasp once again this time more violently and tightly, he grabs onto her hand. "Where are you going chick? The night is young and so are we. So listen to me brat and do as I say!" Dru shrugs his hands of her and slaps him in defence. As his hands reach out in retreat to hit Dru back they are stopped by Minho who is in a rage. "How dare you! Let go of her!" Minho pushes him back with force, he lands on the floor. Minho turns to face Dru in concern. "Are you okay? We should get out of h-." He is cut off by a large smash at the back of his head. Shattered pieces of green glass are scattered on the floor. Vashgu stands there in victory holding a half broken beer bottle in his hand, his dark shadow covers a defeated Minho who has passed out on the floor. Dru shouts "Security! Security!" Two largely built body guards run to the rescue holding the pervert by both arms, dragging him out of the party. Dru helps Minho up, he leans close to her for support. His arms relax on her shoulders and with her help they both walk out into the distance.
