A Beautiful Night's View (part 1)

Chapter 4

Taemin stands proudly next to a white motorbike that was outside the hideout. His sweet eyes look deep into Faye's making her slightly nervous. "I borrowed this from a close friend, he said I could use it for a while. I have always wanted to go on a ride on this. What say, care to join?" Faye seems confused, she is with her favourite Shinee member and wants to spend time with him but can't deny her petty fears. "I thought you told the others you wanted to stay indoors? And I am really not the thrill seeking type. I..erm...am scared to ride on motorbikes. I know it I know it seems quiet cowardly and embarrassing. But I'm sorry." Taemin's disappointment doesn't stop him from persuasion. "Please. Think about how many other fans would like to do this? I lied to the rest of the members because they would argue over who will come with me. I promise you it won't be as scary as you think. I'm sure you will have fun, please..." Taemin leaps onto the motorbike and pats the empty seat next to him. Faye looks down to the ground and contemplates whether to go or not. "Fine. Only for you I am going to do this. Just so you are happy." Faye takes a deep breath and sits behind him awkwardly, not knowing how to avoid body contact since they were so close to each other. Her heart beats increasingly fast at the close proximity. Taemin looks back at Faye and pats her on the head reassuringly. "Thanks a lot! I hope you find this fun! Even if you don't this will remain a good memory for both of us right?"

Taemin reaches for the handles and turns the engine on letting out a loud cloud of smoke behind them. They then both set off onto the open road. They both can feel the cool breeze run through their hair. Soon they reach the main road with a sign of 75 miles per hour in their sight. Taemin increases the speed of the motorbike, Faye reacts and her arms unknowingly wrap around his abdomen and tighten in grip. She shuts her eyes and leans her head against his back as a protective barrier. Taemin can feel her increasing heartbeat on his back, he smiles to himself at her sudden nervousness and at the fact that he secretly likes the closeness between them both. "Are you okay back there?" Faye clenches his shirt. "Yeah I'm fine." A lot of thoughts on mixed feelings run through her head about how scared she is at the fast paced motorbike but undeniably how happy she is to be touching Taemin! They eventually arrive at an open grassland. Taemin is first to get off and holds his hands out for Faye, she slips her small hands in his and they both lie down next to the motorbike on the grass; looking upwards towards the night sky. The twinkling stars fill the earth's canvas like a work of art. "Wow, what a beautiful night's view." Faye looks dazed at the magical scenery. Both Taemin and Faye are left in emotional smiles that can't be helped.

Over at the hideout Minho and Dru reach there first. Dru opens the door and slowly puts Minho down leaning on the bedside. She hurries and rushes over searching through a cupboard drawer, once she spots the first aid box she takes out the bandage and some tissues with disinfectant properties. She turns his head towards the back where he is wounded and cleans off the blood slowly, Minho winces. "Ouch!" Dru becomes more careful trying not to hurt him. She is unable to contain her overwhelming tears and they run rolling down her face as she bandages up his head injury. "I'm sorry I ruined your birthday. I should never have told you to come to that stupid party and face such disgrace and humiliation. I am truly very sorry." Minho says as he wipes her tears with his fingers. "No it's fine. This is not your fault, it's no ones fault." Dru leans closer to Minho cleaning some remaining blood on the side of his neck. The back of his shirt is filled with blood stains. Minho removes his shirt and puts it to the side. Dru looks away awkwardly for a few seconds not knowing what to do, as she takes a glance at him. It is no lie that he seems to have been working out a lot lately. A lean muscled and perfect figure makes her stare for awhile as she gulps down some of the water besides her in the bottle to take her attention of him. Minho walks towards Dru slowly as she takes a couple of steps back. She ends up leaning on the wall but Minho keeps walking closer towards her. His masculine arm slides across her waist, his hand locks through the layers in her hair. Dru's face fills with heat as she sees Minho's veins lined roughly on his arm. Minho comes even closer his plump lips press softly with Dru's. They both close their eyes and an unspeakable desire is bought to life.

Taemin and Faye enter the room at the wrong time. Their eyes fixed on the situation. The sound of the door opening forces Minho and Dru to let go of each other. Minho looks down at the floor and Dru avoids their gaze. Taemin smiles awkwardly and Faye is left standing. "I'll be going to sleep then guys. Goodnight." Minho slips under the bed covers and Taemin joins him teasingly asking a couple of questions to feed his curiosity, that Minho gives short answers to. Dru and Faye look outside the hideout waiting for the others to arrive. "Your so lucky! Tell me everything that happened! Oh my god what I saw you guys doing looked remarkable!" Faye looks at Dru in excitement and their never-ending conversation begins to flow.
