007- A hair-raising discovery

HAYLE'S POINT OF VIEW ~

"Confirmed! She is Dinna"

I turned to the sorceress who was holding Dinna's hair. I knew it, I have always had my suspicions about that woman.

But if she is alive, how did she survive?

"I'm here, Hayle. You said we needed to talk"

Anastasia whom I previously invited to the sorceress's chamber, said.

"It is confirmed, Clarissa us Dinna!"

"What!"

She exclaimed with her mouth opened.

"I knew it, that Dinna is such a snake!"

She added and I turned to her

"This is the perfect time to accomplish our mission. That which we were unable to accomplish, it is the right time to do so. We will find out where she kept that potency fluid, that we will use to bring down Tim!"

"Well let's start acting fast "

Anastasia said and I replied, "Not yet. We can't just tell Ethel that Dinna is not Clarissa."

"So we need to find Clarissa?", Anastasia inquired and I walked closer to her and said, "Exactly, Clarissa will prove that Dinna is not who she claims to be"

"But how do we find Clarissa?"

Anastasia asked and I smiled.

"Leave that to me!"

DINNA'S POINT OF VIEW

Tim was able to convince Ethel to move on with the project. I am not sure that this project will work in my favor. As far as I am concerned, Tim will stop at nothing to prove to everyone that I am Dinna, especially now that I have revealed my true identity to him.

On the other hand, Kate. She is still determined to expose my identity to her father. I had a lot of thoughts running in my head when Tim crossed his arms around my waist.

I was startled at his sudden grip. He rested his head on my neck and said, "Dinna, I missed you"

I pushed him off my body and turned to him with so much fury.

"The last person I want to see right now is you. Why don't you stop all these madness of yours and let me be?"

My voice reigned in the chamber.

"Really, Dinna?"

He said and walked close to me.

"Have you forgotten about everything we had together? The moment we had, how we used to..."

"Will you stop it already?"

I cut off his statement which was beginning to annoy me.

"You should have thought about all these when you went ahead and had an affair with my sister...Oh, I've forgotten. A stranger!"

"Believe me, Dinna, I regret that day. That is why I searched everywhere for you, on that same day you left."

He held my hands and said, "I want you back, Dinna. Give me a second chance, please?"

"Second chance will be the last thing I will grant you. Believe each and every word I am saying to you, I will make you pay, you will suffer for every pain you caused me and my -"

I stopped my utterance after thinking twice about the implications I would get myself into if Tim learned that he had children with me.

I gazed at his face which I could tell was full of eagerness to hear what my next utterance would be.

"I advise you to stop pestering me because you will get nothing in return"

I set my arms free from his grip and attempted to leave when he said "I will not stop, Dinna. You are mine and only mine!"

"Mommy, Jane is chasing me"

Junior playfully said as he gripped my clothes.

I tried to hold him but his sister also ran to us and continued chasing Junior until he fell on Tim's feet, but Tim prevented him from sustaining any injury by catching him on time.

"You are a superhero"

Junior said with so much cheer. I mustn't let Tim grow close with the children, or else, he will be suspicious of being their father.

"Mommy, your friend saved me"

Junior added and Tim raised his gaze at me.

"Mommy"

He stammered while still looking at me.

"What do you mean by that? Is she your Mom?"

He added to Junior who wouldn't stop playing with his collar.

I had to distract Tim from throwing more questions and ending up growing suspicious of Jane and Junior.

"Let's go kids"

I attempted to walk away when Tim held Junior

"Tell me, Dinna. Are they my children?"

My heart flew off after hearing Tim's inquiry. I couldn't look straight into his eyes, otherwise, he would have grown more suspicious of the kids.

"Like I said earlier, you are my past, and these children, as well as Ethel, are my present. Excuse me!"

I walked out with my heart which couldn't stop pondering faster.

I have worked very hard and raised my children with support from Ethel, I can't let Tim ruin my family, and most important of all, my revenge on him!"

Getting to my room, I saw Kate who stood there waiting for me.

"What are you-"

"I came here to make one thing clear to you"

She cut off my utterance. Her sight which seized to shift from my fave and her voice which wasn't friendly, gave me the hint that Kate was mad at me.

"Leave this house now that you have the chance to. Else, you won't like what I will do"

"Calm down, Kate"

I tried to utter but she stepped a bit backward and said, "Calm down? Do you mean to tell me to calm down when you are pretending to be my mom and having an affair with my dad in place of my mom?"

"That is impossible, I refuse to be quiet "

She added and I said to her, "Kate my dear, believe me when I say that I will leave here. But you have to give me time "

"No, I refuse to accept such a condition. You are an intruder, and intruders don't give conditions."

He added with a loud voice, "You are pretending to be my mom just because you both share the same face. I am sorry but your plan won't work. Because I will expose you "

"I understand the fact that I am not your mother but will you please give chance to explain myself."

She kept quiet and stared at me, giving me hope that she would finally listen.

"I am not Clarissa, yes, it is true. But..."

"But what? You are Dinna?"

A voice interrupted from behind. It was Ethel!
