009- The trap is set

HAYLE'S POINT OF VIEW ~
"You?"
I turned to Kate who startled me.
"What are you doing here?"
I tried to question her but she turned the table on me.
"I should be asking you that question. This is my Mom's secret room, so what are you doing here?"
This little girl seems to be smart. It is the right time to start crafting my plan. While I am still looking for the real Clarissa, I can manipulate this little girl to do what I want.
I stepped back and close to her.
"When you speak of your mom, who are you referring to? Your real mother or that imposter?"
She threw that long face of hers at me. She didn't seem surprised at what I told her. Could it be that she knows the truth?
"You don't have to remind me of whom I am living with because I already know the truth!"
This didn't surprise me a bit, instead, it assured me of the perfect time to expose Dinna's identity. Her identity or not, I don't care. All I want is Tim's potency fluid.
"Well in that case I can help your dad figure out the truth and your real mother will be found "
She gave me a quick response
"What do you mean?"
"Your dad is under that woman's manipulation. In other words, Dinna captured your dad's soul in a fluid!"
Kate seemed to be baffled here, but I will clarify everything for her. She is the only source of killing Tim.
"What are you talking about?"
She said with a cracking voice almost ready to burst into tears.
"What do you mean by my dad is under her manipulation?"
She added and I patted her back.
"She told me that herself. Dinna and I were sisters you see, but she betrayed my mate, Tim, and now, she wants to take your dad"
I watched her closely as my words melted into her head.
"Kate my dear, no matter how much you convince your dad about that woman's true identity, he will never agree with you, subsequent to how his soul was manipulated!"
I added and she pushed me away with furious eyes. I wouldn't stop until I have convinced this girl.
"Don't you dare use my family against me? Get that into your head, I don't know who you are. So will you please stop confusing me with your useless remarks!"
Her eyes seemed targeted at mine as she gazed at me.
"What's more? I will tell my dad everything you just said. And most important of all, how you got into this room. Charlie would have eaten you alive if I didn't come here "
"Charlie?"
I wondered to myself.
"Yes, Charlie! My mom refused to claim it the moment she returned from that accident. She became wolfless and Charlie was locked up here "
I smiled at her knowing fully well that my plan was about to be accomplished. I will use Charlie against Dinna.
If Dinna refuses to claim Charlie, she will have no option but to claim it during the hunter's night. A night when the pack goes hunting! The Dinna I know doesn't even have the power to control a wolf because she lost it when she saved Tim's life. Her secret will be out in the open. Let's watch and see!

DINNA'S POINT OF VIEW
" I will accept your request your request and grant this battle. But only on one condition!"
Nathan said and I grinned at him.
"Whatever condition you state, I will grant it to you"
Even though it takes sacrificing what is special to me to get the vengeance that I seek, I will willingly do it.
"Charlie!"
He said to my astonishment.
"Charlie?"
But what could he want from Charlie? I refuse to claim that wolf of Clarissa because I am not the real shifter. Once that invisible wolf is released, I am sure that it will attack me first.
But the enchanter said that it wants Charlie in exchange for Chan's mortality, I will do as he said.
"Is that all?"
I asked and he he gestured in agreement to what I asked.
"Then consider it done. Charlie in exchange for the sacrifice. I don't want him to have the appetite of shifting talk more of becoming a werewolf!"
The enchanter grinned and said, "I have been in this profession for seven centuries now, I know when and when not to strike"
"Go home, I will send for you once I'm done preparing the fluid!"
I left his chamber with enthusiasm. They ruined my life, my marriage, and worst of all, my family. I won't back down and watch them win every time. It is my time to take over, they should wait, watch, and see. Because I will be taking them down, one after the other.
When I got home, I saw Hayle. It was late so I expected to have gone by now, so what is she doing here?
And where is she going to? That's my bedroom she is heading to. I followed her to find out what she was up to.
When I got there, I saw her discussing with Ethel. I couldn't hear what they were conversing so I adjusted a bit while still leaning on the wall.
"Do you mean the hunter's night?"
Ethel asked while sipping a juice.
"Yes, I want to scale it up for this year. I mean, the two friendly packs. Conri and Zeth packs, we will go for the hunting together."
What is Hayle up to this time around? I am sure that she has a reason for making such a negotiation with Ethel. Could it be her new plan to expose my identity?
I will have to do something before Hayle does. I interrupted their discussion and saw the astonishment in Hayle's eyes.
"Why the silence? I am so want to participate in this hunting of yours. Right, Hon?"
I hugged Ethel and Hayle couldn't stop gazing at me.
"Yes, I think we should seek my Luna's opinion on this scaling idea of yours regarding the hunting"
Ethel turned to Hayle and she gave me a mysterious glare.
No matter what your plan is, I will always be one step ahead of you, Hayle.
"Sure, what do you have to offer in this idea of ours?"
Hayle asked, I guess she doesn't even know what I have installed for her.
"Of course not, I am the Luna of Zeth pack and she is the Luna of Conri pack. I make decisions for my pack, and she does so for Conri pack. Therefore, we will go for the hunting alone!"
Ethel grinned and further, tried to persuade my opinion to fall in Hayle's favor but she is unaware of the danger she must have plotted in the field.
Ethel started becoming suspicious of my refusal to his demand so I gave in to their plan.
I could see the embracement on Hayle's face but she is unaware of why I approve of her opinion. Because of this same hunting, Chan will lose his right to eternal life. He will no longer be an immortal but a human. A mortal, this is just the beginning of my vengeance!
