It was morning , and it all started back in April, 1st week ...preparations for the event started 2-3 days later and everyday we would go after our class for 4-6 hrs and practice in ANJANI block in our school and in last few days it went on around for 10 -13 hours straight in auditorium. It was really fun interacting with such fun souls (seniors), preparing with them and seeing them doing ramp walk and dancing .

I learned many new things there such as how to do ramp walk, rational dance but most of all , I learned names of my fellow seniors , old birdies and chuby juniors !! It was fun , wasn't it?

And then , when the day approached.

My biggest concern was "kese hoga yarr sab kuch , I...I.. suck when it comes to socializing and all !!! I don't even know the other half??!!

(My biggest concern was how will I make things out ? )

_______

I was straddling the bike , directed to one side while clutching my fists onto the shoulder of my dad ,feeling the wind against my face , hearing the roar of the engine , and getting lost in the wonders of the world..it's an indescribable feeling that transcends the everyday mundanity but something very momentous for me .

The subtle sucking sound of tires on wet pavement , the gentle clicking of loose rocks beneath your mountain like wheels, and that tantalizing crunching sound as you leave the road and hit the gravel....uff...who knew I would be so observant when it comes to motorbikes and its antics ?

Motorbike- growling haults*

Sri - thank you papall , mai idhar sei le lungi.

Bhimsena - .......

Sri - what's wrong ??

Bhimsena - tu chal , mai tujhe andar tak chod aaunga....chal....

I kept on fidgeting my knuckles , out of anxiety and anxiousness ki tik bhi paongi waha kya??

But my dad was well aware of my insecurities and offered a positive nod which was quite compelling for me ,I needed that I guess.

***************

Sri - I'll take it from here papal.

Bhimsena - ahh ...how can I forget this please take this .
He exclaimed while slapping his head.

He directed his palm towards me , opening the fists it revealed the hidden ornament of the bottom of my heart .....my mother's camera....

Bhimsena - your mother asked me to give you this when it was time , I know you re ready now to keep it with yourself , I want you to click pictures with it and if possible check out your mother's as well.
