"Jae I swear I can't believe that your parents let you fly all the way to London for a better education system when I have trouble just getting my dad to let me walk to my friends house by myself." I said sitting in my pool on a float while on FaceTime.

"Yeah I know but I promise I'll take the quickest flight to you as soon as I..." then the screen went black. Naturally I started to panic because what the actual fuck is happening. "Jae..Hello! Jae!!"

No response. Of course his WiFi was bad. He was in London god dammit. I turned my phone off and decided to just relax in the pool but just the thought of being far away from Jae just upset me so much.

"I really hope it goes through..."

"Marieeee you got mail!" My older sister yelled across the house and I sprinted downstairs. "Is it from?" I asked. "YES IT IS FROM TGA!" She responded and I squealed and jumped up and down.

"Bitch if you don't open that letter before I tear it apart!" Isa said and I carefully opened it up.

I read aloud:

"Dear Ms. Anna-Marie Banks,

Thank you for sending in your application to join us here at TechGenius Academy.

Your grades are absolutely perfect and I think that you would be an astounding fit in our prestigious academic activities.

You are most certainly welcome for a year here at TechGenius Academy.

Sincerely,

Headmistress Glaucoma.

I finished reading the written out letter and screamed out loud causing my dad and stepmom to run in and look at me as if I was suffering mentally.

"Anna-Marie you only scream like that unless someone is dying or the ice cream truck is coming now what is the matter with you?!" My dad asked seeing me smile really big.

"Dad I got into TG ACADEMY!" I yelled excitedly and he looked at me confused.

"Please daddy can I go?" I begged and gave him my best puppy dog eyes. "I don't know why can't you stay home? London is pretty far." My dad stated and I only gave more puppy dog eyes.

"Know what fine I don't see why not since Isabella is going to college you'll need company and me and your step mom could use all the privacy." He said and winked at my stepmom Nana. I scrunched up my nose and ran back upstairs to go pack for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

This was gonna be the best Junior Year ever!
