6.) Flaky Morning

I decided to wake up extra early this morning before anything started to pick up books about Puerto Rico and something interesting about it that could work for this damn project which was weird because I thought Geo was fucking Puerto Rican why the fuck wouldn't he know about his own race.

I wandered into the library to see that it was completely empty and that I was all alone. It's just like I felt when I was at home. My sister's going to college and leaving me behind in a quiet house.

Over that time I mostly stayed in my room out of sight and out of mind because I was nothing but a burden by myself.

"Id Rather be a burden with my sisters."

I was wandering the shelves and picked up a book I thought was interesting when I looked through the crack of the bookshelf to see another face on the other side. It was Geo's face and his curly hair was all up in his face again.

I still wasn't over what happened yesterday when he finally came out of whatever trance he was in and caught me in that position. It was so awkward and I could've sworn he got hard. But who wouldn't it's literally me.

He finally looked up and saw be staring and I backed up embarrassed hitting another bookshelf in the process. A few books fell from the shelves when he came. "Are you okay?" He asked me and I tried to play it off. I started to back away still making eye contact with him while talking. "Yeah sure I'm fi-" then I slipped over a stupid book and fell on my butt with more books falling.

I backed away quickly still not getting up from the floor and put a book to cover my face. I heard a small chuckle come from his mouth as he moved the book out of my face. I looked up to see his maroon colored eyes and I felt my face flush with embarrassment. He held his hand out to me and I hesitated before taking it.

"Th-Thanks you didn't have to." I stammered and he just rolled his eyes and walked away. This was the nicest he's ever been to me in an entire week at this school. I mean I already had a reputation as the Jamaican student who killed Jae's shit. But for Geo fucking Hernandez to be nice to me it had to be fate or some shit.

I walked over to pick up all the books that I dropped when out of the corner of my eye I seen Jae walking towards me. Before I could finally escape he managed to be in front of me. I looked up to see his sinister ass grin in my fucking face and it just made me want to punch it.

"Listen Anna-Marie about Octavia there was nothing going on and we're just friends." That boy lied right in between his damn teeth and I would've believed him if I didn't see them kissing for myself then him walking in with her at the beginning of the year party arm in fucking arm! "...So anyways I totally understand if you don't wanna but what do you think?" He said and stared at me hoping for an answer.

I was so busy thinking about punching his little cute face that I didn't even bother to listen to what he said. "Yeah no I was not listening to the lies going between your teeth." I said and he looked at me hurt. "Do you even care Anna?" I shrugged my shoulders at him and he looked like I stuck a dagger through his heart. "Oh okay I see how it is but I'm still gonna win you back." He said and I just rolled my eyes with him huffing and leaving.

"Win me back?! No he's a total cheater!"

"That was actually kind of hard to watch." A cocky voice said behind me. I turned around to see Matthew holding cups of boba. "How hey Matthew I didn't know you came down here." I said hugging him and he hugged back. "Yeah I saw you come down so I decided to come and see what's up and bring you breakfast." He said holding up a little white baggy.

"Oh breakfast right I was supposed to meet you guys." I said holding my head and we went to a separate
table. I sat down across from him and he handed me a cupcake that he got from the cafeteria and a few cinnamon twists. "I didn't know what you wanted so I just winged it." He said placing a cup of boba down next to me.

Matthew was a really sweet boy. He had golden retriever energy but I think it was just from his soft strawberry blonde locks, angel blue eyes, brown freckles, or his rosy cheeks. It was just an aura he had that anybody would be attracted to. No wonder Daya liked him.

"Anyways what's going on between you and Jae?" Matthew asked taking a big bite out of his cinnamon roll then choking on it slightly. "Oh well he's pretty much the shittiest man I've dated no let me take that back he's the shittiest BOY I've ever dated in my entire 16 years of existence but you know can't complain he was my first." I ranted a little embarrassed from what I just said.

Mathew didn't even seem a bit embarrassed instead he asked. "And how did that go?" I felt my cheeks burning from his question and laughed awkwardly. "Not so great he didn't even know where it went." I said a little embarrassed at my words. "Oh that's actually pathetic." Matthew remarked laughing.

"Yeah...it was really pathetic and I wish I could've went back in time to slap myself in the face." I said before taking a swig of my orange juice. "So you would be down to lose your virginity a second time to a hotter guy?" He asked. For absolutely no reason that boy was super curious about my sex life. "Well yeah I mean they have to be hot though." I responded placing my now empty bottle of orange juice down.

"Well we don't have classes today so I guess I'll see you around." Matthew said picking up his trash and I got aggravated. "You're telling me this entire time there was no class so I didn't have to wake up so early?!" I exclaimed slamming my hands down on the table and the librarian gave me a glare.

"You're funny Anna-Marie. Now I can see why- know what never mind." He said and walked out the library.

I wondered what he was gonna say after but he just walked away quickly not uttering a single word.

Some boyfriend he'd make to Daya....
