"HE'S IN GEORGE'S room," Izzie complained from her locker, as she, Meredith, and Jordyn were getting ready for their shifts. "And when George's stupid marriage crashes and burns, he's gonna wanna move back in, and he won't be able to." She continues, making Jordyn scowl.

Truthfully, since Jordyn had begun here a few weeks ago, she had begun to consider Callie a good friend, which means she didn't appreciate Izzie bad mouthing her friend's marriage.

"Or, you could just be happy for them instead of whining or complaining every chance you get," Jordyn smiles with fake innocence, slamming her locker and looking at Izzie.

Izzie rolls her eyes and ignores the girl, talking to Meredith once again, "His life will be in shambles, he'll finally notice that his dad is dead, and he made a fool out of himself, by marrying someone he doesn't really love," The last sentence particularly grated on Jordyn's nerves, how would Izzie know if he loves her or not?

"And he'll have no place to go, is that what you want?"

Meredith smiles sarcastically at Izzie, stuffing her bag in her locker, "That's exactly what I want."

Jordyn snorted, earning a glare from the blonde, which didn't scare her at all.

Just then, the rest of the interns came barreling in, George going straight for Meredith.

"How you doing?" He asked the girl, moving to his locker by Jordyn, the girl setting a light hand on his shoulder, sending him a smile and receiving one in return. She had been hanging with the newly weds quite a bit.

Meredith took a deep breath before addressing all of her friends, "Okay, let's do this once, I'm fine, she's cremated, I picked out a beautiful urn, and she's hanging out in the back of my closet."

Jordyn furrowed her brows, back of her closet? When her mother had died, her siblings and her father had all immediately taken a trip to Colorado to spread her mother's ashes as soon as possible.

"That's messed up, Mer, but I honestly understand." She smiled at the blonde, turning back to her locker.

"Anymore questions about my dead mother, or can we get back to work?"

Everyone stayed silent, turning back to their lockers to finish getting ready.

Christina sat down on the bench and sighed, "Does anyone know who the new Chief candidate is?"
