MIAMI, FLORIDA
★ ───────────── Kianna added the finishing touches to the beautifully designed wedding cake, music playing from her iPad filled her ears as she was in her own world. Lyrics spilling from her mouth as the icing was being spread across the top of the cake.
"It's getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes" she sung as she focused making sure her sister's wedding cake was going to be perfect.
"Kianna please tell this nigga that we don't need anymore floaties" April said, sitting on top of the counter with an annoyed expression on her face.
Kendrick followed April into the kitchen holding a donut floatie he brought off of Amazon a few weeks ago, "Kianna can you please tell your least favorite best friend that what I buy isn't any of her business"
"There goes my peace" Kianna put the frosting tool on the counter. She noticed how her two friends looked irritated because of each other, ever since the friend group left Connecticut April and Kendrick been arguing, damn Miami be making people trip sometimes.
"Why are y'all arguing..again" Kianna questioned, continuing to finish the cake.
Twenty four hours till the wedding ringed in her head.
"Kianna you don't get it, April is trying to act like she the boss of me every time I make a decision for myself" Kendrick explained, April rolled her eyes as a response. "Well maybe you should make smarter decisions instead of being a dumbass, dumbass" April said, Kendrick smacked his teeth as the two went back and forth Kianna tried her best to ignore the bickering that was interfering with her music.

"Bobby and Whitney please!" She yelled, making the two quickly shut-up. "I don't know why you both are at each other's throats at a time like this, but it's starting to piss me off. This has been happening for over a month I don't even know why" Kianna paused at her frustrated rant, she took a deep breath grabbing her phone from her back pocket.
Tapping on a contact she called Valerie who was in the middle of her spa session obviously not picking up.
"Dammit I can't even send y'all to Valerie and she the one that be answering the phone"
Kendrick noticed the tray of cupcakes with vanilla icing on them with white edible pearl sprinkles, he reached for one, but quickly took his hand back as Kianna smacked him.
